Rosy-creamy-well-groomed feel-good scent
Well, what's going on now?? I have so many fine, exquisite fragrances in my collection that no one cares about, and with this little budget scent here, people are following me around asking what wonderful perfume I’m wearing? My mom is visiting, sprays it on in my bathroom (she can use all my fragrances!) and can hardly contain her excitement, so I immediately bought her one too?
Interesting. Normally, hardly anyone notices how I smell. I don't either. At least not in public, at home yes. And usually, I hardly test drugstore fragrances anymore. Not because I’m a snob, but because for quite some time now, I’ve noticed a very specific synthetic budget vibe that is common to many drugstore scents. At least to my nose.
This fragrance was brand new on the shelf and caught my eye with its color and the hand-friendly bottle, and I thought as I walked by, oh, I’ll take a spray, it can’t hurt. And before I knew it, I was at the checkout with it. And not just once, I was at the checkout with it a second time. For Mom. And again. A bunker bottle for me. Because it’s really nice!
It wasn’t listed yet when I got it, so I had to rely on my own nose. But I could also smell (Pentecost) rose. Essential is not sweet, smells floral-rosy-creamy, well-groomed, and very pleasant. Four or five sprays are definitely fine, then those colleagues in question will follow you around. The scent is inexpensive, but doesn’t smell like it. There’s no scent development. It essentially stays the same from start to finish.
The only downside: the longevity. After about three hours, only a tiny hint can be detected. That doesn’t bother me. The bottle fits well in my handbag, so I just reapply. At this price, it’s really not a problem.
Conclusion: A successful drugstore scent for all occasions that smells more expensive than it is. For all seasons, for doctor visits, hospital and other visits, for before and after sports or for business - with this scent, you really can’t go wrong!
