Cola, Aramis, and the Eau Sauvage I've always wanted

First, this is based on the current formula in those 1.7oz little square bottles, mine was a 2023 batch.
I first got intrigued by AC smells good channel when he talked about what a beast this is. Then I pulled the trigger.

Upon very first spray, you can tell an immediate familiarity to Aramis. However, I will tell you why this is better. Aramis has this cheap, vulgarness to it. I don't know why that is since they smells so similar but I think Azuree comparatively smells cleaner and more elegant. I think that's caused by a more prominent basil and artemisia note that makes the scent has the lift to it. Where as Aramis just feels kinda dirty and old school 70s. Azuree smells timeless to me.

Another interesting thing is that Azuree when smelled in the air has this cola vibe to it. At least to me. A lot of fragrantica dramatic reviewers say this is super bitter. I don't know what they're talking about but I smell this herbal sweetness from basil and the florals. Clove is not listed but I get that clove smell, and that's what makes this have a cola vibe to me.

I love Eau Sauvage EDT, but I absolutely hate it for its poor performance. Additionally, Eau Sauvage tends to get a bit boring because how lemony that thing is. So Azuree essentially strips off that big lemon, adds a lot of body because of the oakmoss and artemesia.

I'm a man and I have to say this really does not strike me as a feminine fragrance at all. I don't mind feminine fragrances, in fact I think No5 EDT and Shalimar are very beautiful scents and I think I can pull them off easily. But even for the bros who are concerned about coming cross as wearing a woman's fragrance, Azuree will pass your test. This smells more manly and authoritative than Bleu de Chanel, Dior Sauvage, Aventus combined. If Tom Ford repackages the bottle and sell it for 500 bucks in their private line this would be hyped more but hey. I don't mind buying this at 50 bucks from ebay.

Performance is beastly and I think it would be gorgeous to wear in high humidity high heat conditions. where I am is winter right now, can't wait for summer to come to wear this.
