Heliotrope Etro 1989 Eau de Toilette

This scent is just wonderful, I've been looking for a marzipan scent for a while now and was bitterly disappointed with both Casamorati - Italica and Velvet Tonka. The BDK was far too edible for me and the Casamorati was not soft enough.
Here, with this beautiful fragrance from Etro, I have found exactly the perfect balance. Marzipany bitter almond with tart-sweet vanilla. Musk and petitgrain make everything soft and creamy. The floral heart notes lend a delicate sweetness without ever becoming too floral. It is often the little things, finding the fine balance, that make a fragrance perfect.
The bottle is made of beautiful thick clear glass, the outer packaging is of high quality with a good feel. I paid 115 euros for 100 ml. I think that's an absolutely fair deal.
