A wonderful vintage - suitable for a self-confident woman
Tigress came to me via my mom in November 2023. I found the slim 30ml bottle with a golden cap and amber-colored liquid together with other vintages, vintage minis and a few forgotten bottles of mine in a drawer in the basement. I am thrilled. What a find! I guess it's from the 80s - whether before or after the reformulations is beyond me.

Tigress Cologne has a strong spicy-sweet opening, then, within a minute, notes that are indefinable to me are added and it transforms into a floral-spicy fragrance.

A warm feeling spreads through me.
A recognition. A feel-good smell.

I sniff again and again, and within the first 5 minutes the earthy oak moss comes through. I have a memory of walking in the forest and I smell this slightly earthy, mossy scent with every step I take on the springy forest floor, and there's something vanilla-spicy-floral in the air. It's spring or fall ... the sun is shining.

The fragrance is incredibly well woven and seems very lively to me - it changes from one moment to the next.

After 2 hours, the oakmoss fades into the background and I am surrounded by a sweet, spicy, earthy and floral scent. It then lasts like this and becomes quieter as it progresses. As I washed my hands after 5 hours, I didn't experience the "end", but I estimate that it will last a good 8 hours. The addendum will follow when I have had time to leave Tigress Cologne on overnight.

As I smell the oakmoss very strongly here - especially as I know it from my essential oil extract - I did some research. Nowadays, oakmoss is rarely found in its original form but only synthetically in perfumes. It has been in very limited use since 2004 due to its strong allergy potential (because 3 people in a small study reacted allergically to it!) and many perfumes have been reworked as a result.
