More resentment than evaluation

I am a very positive person, yet I have to write my second commentary in one piece, for a rather negative reason, because I think that some scents are wrongly done here. I know, it doesn't matter, wear whatever you like and you're done. I'll do that. Nevertheless I would like to say something about this.

In the beginning: I'm not a fanboy of good Jeremy, to be honest, currently rather the opposite, because the interest to perfumes comes across a bit too emotionless to me. But that has nothing to do with here.
I think it's a pity that many fragrances, including this one, are judged very subjectively and personally. Whether you like Jeremy or not is up to you and I understand both sides. Granted, he was a great influence that brought me closer to perfume and I am grateful for that. The videos were simply entertaining back then. On the other hand, I first have to make friends with the idea that he is not a true representative of the passion for perfumes, but a businessman. Whatever you think about this topic, he seems to have done quite a bit right, considering what he has achieved.

Since I knew the price, I knew I wouldn't buy the fragrance. However, I've been looking for a simple office and everyday fragrance for a long time that you can always use without thinking about what you're spraying on. After a few considerations, you should choose between Reflection Man and Office for Men. I thought I already knew that I had chosen the Reflection Man anyway, but after a few opinions from my close friends and family, the result was more than clear in a direct comparison Yeah, I know, a lot of them are "laymen" who don't do much with scents. But in the end over 95% of the people who walk around out there smelling our beautiful scents are "laymen". As far as the selection of an everyday fragrance is concerned, I give a lot to these opinions.

As I have said before, perfume is an extremely subjective subject and there is no right or wrong. What I don't understand, however, is how can a fragrance like this be badly talked about because it is a mixture of Aventus / Bleu de Chanel / Sauvage and other things, but at the same time it is rated significantly worse than an Explorer, which is also nothing else? Additionally there are over 40 ratings between 0 and 4, which is really underground but totally ok, if someone perceives it that way. But then how these persons have completely contradictory rated an Aventus with 9-10 and indicate as signature scent... that is simply envy.
The "scent" rating is often completely misinterpreted here and a number of other factors are taken into account, be it price, Jeremy's whims or anything else.

A few words about the Office for Men itself. To those who absolutely don't want to treat Jeremy to anything at all, please briefly imagine that the scent was released by another random house and I'm sure we'll come to a green path. So, for once, completely unbiased and without expectations. It starts very fresh and becomes woody with time, the whole thing with a shelf life of about 8 hours. That's about it. It isn't more, but it isn't less. He is certainly not groundbreaking, nor is he anything new. But it should never be, and that was clear from the beginning.
For my part, I can only claim that I have never had a fresh fragrance with such a long shelf life on my skin, which is quite an important criterion as an everyday fragrance.
You can read through the comments here and you will see that only those who express criticism receive many trophies and approval. Accordingly, I know what I'm doing well, but if only one or two of you, based on my comment, consider the matter a little more fairly from above, it has already been worth it.
