Hook'ed
The bottle catches the eye, it's hard to miss with its metaphor/reference - a real cannon barrel! ;-) Why has "FullChoke" been somewhat overlooked and is nearly forgotten today? Phew, I really have no idea, probably there wasn't a true target audience. I still like it a lot...
The few owners who still have it majestically sitting on their shelves should consider themselves lucky and take it out for a spin tonight - because I am a bit envious... "FullChoke" shouldn't be underestimated, because despite the phallic association and "gunpowder in the head," at its core, it is a spicy-soft pirate flower that comes across as more approachable and extraordinary than intrusive and dangerous. So more parrot than eye patch. It’s like imagining "Aventus" sitting on a sharpening stone in a pink garden center - that’s how you can picture "FullChoke," it hardly has the strength to choke you. It starts fruity-wild, but quickly becomes bright-floral and ends in a slightly damp vetiver patch. I find it very fine and interesting, unique and worth discussing, masculine despite the flowers. Once again, it’s a shame that it has sunk and was ahead of its time. After all, it’s bolder than 98% of today’s new releases... The perfect Jack Sparrow scent?!
Bottle: a nice decorative... uh, decorative object...
Sillage: initially a blast, then quickly becomes subtle
Longevity: drops off exponentially, but still lasts a decent amount of time (7 hours)
Conclusion: an explosively creamy floral for men - great!
