Hesperides Grapefruit
I was wondering why this scent is named after the Hesperides nymphs. After a bit of digging, I found that the Garden of Hesperides houses the mythological "golden apples" that, supposedly, weren't apples at all according to historians, but actually citrus fruits. So I guess this scent is inspired by that Greek fable.
I don't care for citrus notes. Lemon feels forgettable, and lime reminds me of generic men's fragrances. And who even knows what a bergamot is? However, grapefruit is my exception. They smell so much fruitier and juicier than other citrus notes, and I can't help but to find them more interesting in compositions.
This is grapefruit done with a light touch (coherent with Fresh's brand identity). It's not at all zesty, but almost watery and placid with ambiguous florals and peach. It's an easy wear for anyone, especially during sunny or warm weather.
