This is a guilty pleasure for me. I don't like many of Sol de Janeiro scents, and I didn't quite understand what I like about this one but it is hard for me to go without it. Maybe it's because it is so hard ro find something with a prominent pistachio in it.

Smells like a bowl of candied nuts to me. Definitely caramel-y. My problem is there is something so artificial about it especially on skin, but still, I can't give it up. Don't blind buy.

The sillage and longevity are good considering it is a body spray. Don't believe people saying it outlasts perfumes or anything, not true. But it is a well performing body spray. I really like the perfume version.

this is the image that this perfume conjures in my mind. the quintessential californian girl summer, beaches and sun and poolside tans and sunglasses and kissy faces at the iphone camera. go to the beach and you will smell a girl wearing it. when i was a kid i smelled this, and came back 4 years later to buy it bc it stuck with me so bad. so so good and timeless.

This is a testament to how good this fragrance is, that not a single one of the notes on its own would say "summer" or "fresh and clean" to me, yet this is such a nice, sweet, after the shower scent, I can't help but feel clean when I wear it. This is one of those that yes, it's overhyped. Yes, everyone wears it so it's not unique. But it is undeniably so well done and delicious and memorable, that whenever I smell in on someone else I feel validated in my love for it. It also performs so well, especially in hair and clothes!

As someone who lives in a really hot, tropical, and humid environment, this is one of the few really sweet body mists that go well with the climate. This is very important to note because most of the time, overly cloying perfumes in the summer are AWFUL, especially in humid weather. This though isn't that.

Based on the reviews i've read i must say that this really do smell like nougat. In the opening the smell of almond is very prominent as well as the caramel as it dries down that's where i detect very little jasmine and the vanilla. This is very very sweet but i love it!
