an affordable fragrance delight
Opposite my doctor's office is a Rossi store, and it's just too tempting to pop in there for a moment, as the discount store has surprised me with some real gems.
Additionally, I wanted to "reward" myself after the injection, and I can do that well with a fragrance purchase.
It shouldn't be too expensive - more of a little treat for in between.
That's when I noticed the pretty pink box of Gap Bright - at an incredibly low price.
Can you really create a decent fragrance for so little money? I thought skeptically.
But yes - you can!
Bright lives up to its name, as it greets me bright and cheerful.
The raspberry is sweet and delicious, with no gummy bear note, and it skillfully reflects the pink bottle.
The apple rolls in alongside the raspberry, and the lily of the valley chimes in quite charmingly.
In the dry down, it becomes woody and vanilla-like - warm and soft.
Bright may not be a milestone in the art of perfumery, but it is certainly a clever - cheerful companion for in between.
It certainly sweetened my journey home.
