Affordable Gant "Indigo" Alternative
I had to get this scent for myself, as fragrance king JOE researched and suggested it.
I couldn't resist, I saw it (the fragrance, not JOE) at Müller for just 14.95 euros for 30 ml in a really nice bottle for this price range, all alone in the corner of the shelf.
I sprayed it on my wrist and noticed a slightly lemony scent component. After about 5 - 10 minutes, the fragrance transforms into a slightly leathery, herbal essence.
After sniffing for a while, I could detect a certain similarity to Gant. I had Gant myself years ago; it was both Gant and Gant Indigo. Which of the two smelled like 1969, I can't say right off the bat.
Anyone looking for an affordable lemon scent for summer should take a look at Gap 1969.
The sillage is indeed very weak, but for the low price, one can happily spray again.
Once again, many heartfelt thanks to fragrance king JOE!!
