Peppery spices, green and woods for a man
At the beginning, I get some very beautiful citrusy scents. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take too long before a strong, spicy peppery note comes up. I can’t tell if it’s the pink or the balck pepper, although the first thing that came to my mind was the black pepper. I also start getting some fresh, soothing black tea (a very nice note) which is slightly smoky and herbal. The drydown doesn’t take too long before arriving and then it becomes all green, spicy note like fennel (which isn’t listed here). Could be the combo of patchouli and haitian vetiver. Cedarwood also appears in the background giving it a woody aspect.
It’s not bad per se, definitely not a favorite, but it leans very masculine. It has a strong spicy aspect, with a green and woody facet that reminds me of a man’s cologne. I wish the black tea had been stronger as this note was the highlight of the scent. Won’t be adding it to my collection because of the masculine lean, but I don’t understand the low score it has on Parfumo (6.4 at the time of this review) Try it out!
