MMM... this is GOOOOd i like it very much , sligtly spicy vanilla whit cedar and tonka beens . A warm comfortable sensuel treat..
i tiny wiff of citrus.. this is a orintal vanilla to my nose. maybe slighly more oriental the vanilla but nevertheless ..
this holdes the notes all the way thrue on my skin..
this is a Winterfragranse for shure , The picture that pops up in my headd wearying this is infront off the fire whit a cup of warm apple cider or tea. a twist off cinamon and apple. it is not listed and it does not smell like that exactly, but it makes me think off it.. a christmas perfume maybe..

The Radiant Smile

I had to travel abroad on short notice and was under immense stress to get things done for work. Stressed, I arrived at the hotel and went to bed early. In the morning, I woke up slightly refreshed but still stressed. I got ready for a long and busy day and headed to the office. Somehow, nothing went right that day, and I was really glad when it finally turned 6 PM. A foreign colleague and I decided to go to a restaurant and have a nice meal. We found a restaurant that appealed to us and sat down next to two young ladies who were surrounded by small, lively children. That was the only option since there were no other seats available. Loud laughter erupted around their table, and there was a lot of commotion. Since I was already very stressed and almost annoyed, I considered going to another restaurant but didn’t, as a small child from the neighboring table proudly walked over to us and smiled sweetly. A little apology slipped from the girl's lips. The lady next to us had sent her over to apologize for the noise. I nodded at her, and we ordered our food. After a while, the young lady came over to us. A radiant smile was skillfully on her face, and you could see that she had a lot of joy in her. She also apologized, which was not at all necessary because one doesn’t need to apologize to such a cheerful person. I immediately noticed her perfume. Fresh, fruity, and truly feminine! There was a softness in the air, as if all her words and laughter were a warming, pulsating force. I promptly asked about the perfume. She perked up, showed her white teeth, and asked me for the first time if I liked it or if it bothered me. I laughed at that. I was not prepared for a counter-question. I like the scent!

“Cavalli - I love Her!” she said, still smiling, and mentioned that she liked this fragrance, which has a lot of warmth in it. She seems to not only like the scent but also herself. You could tell that about her. That’s what makes confident and happy women! I perceive a light hint of vanilla only faintly, but what stands out particularly is a certain touch from the South. Something fruity, mixed with a hint of sea breeze, all wrapped in warm, intense wood. Very nice. It makes you long for the sea, beach, and sunshine.

She sat down with her companion after an invitation, and we all decided to have ice cream. A friendly conversation developed, and we found out that she also had a very large collection of perfumes.

We talked for a long time about the scent she was wearing. She told us how she came to it. I love such stories and always enjoy listening to how perfumes are embraced by the heart. The stories behind them are often very interesting. She took the bottle out of her bag and handed it to me. A real plastic gem lay in my hand. Colorful, flashy, a bit girlish, but somehow also interesting. A real eye-catcher for summer. A quick sniff reminded me of a warm summer evening and dozens of fresh cocktails made with a lot of love. A warm wind blowing around, letting the hair of the one wearing it fall into her face. I perceive the heliotrope very strongly, and the water fruit that keeps disappearing and coming back is very interesting. The scent is not at all inconspicuous or intrusive. It is a warm summer fragrance enriched with a lot of sandalwood and fruit, and surrounded by heliotrope. The slightly sweet note may bother some, but this fades after a while. The young lady assured me of that. Those who like heliotrope and warm wood can confidently go for this scent.

A good companion for summer nights. Especially if you carry a radiant personality outward, you should perhaps indulge a little with Cavalli. I wouldn’t mind.

One of the few Cavallis that I really like and can recommend.

Mistakes are ugly.

Today in Aachen. Something around 30 degrees, but an unpleasant warmth. What you would call oppressive here. I'm happily toiling away at a comfortable 23 degrees with air conditioning, accompanied by Florabotanica. The perfume is on point.

Just in time for the evening bell, the sky opens up. Mr. Thunder grumbles, the clouds weep, and the temperature drops. Meanwhile, I'm practicing for the Miss Wet T-Shirt Contest at the bus stop in a white blouse. With me, Florabotanica. The perfume is on point. Hours later, the caterpillar finally crawls up the road, and I stand dry, smelling around me and wondering what the hell is going on with Florabotanica. I had no idea it could develop so creamy. And exotic, and I'm quite amazed.

But something keeps making me stumble mentally. Until I realize I don't smell myself at all. This warm, exotic, creamy fruity vacation scent is not Florabotanica, which should have been clear to me right away, but who knows, when it rains after dry heat, everything always smells very intense. The reason I think I smell myself was, of course, the extreme closeness of the scent and because I own it myself. It hits me like raindrops from my eyelashes: "Oh wow, that's Cavalli, I love her!"

Crazy. I totally love it when you perceive scents through someone else's sillage. It's a bit like seeing yourself with foreign eyes, from the outside.
Scents can sometimes smell completely different in their sillage, sometimes similar, but still more interesting than in the microcosm we are in here. "Yes, a drop of mandarin and three drops of heliotrope, a bit artificial overall."
What I smelled on the bus simply captivated me anew. What a wonderful fruity (indefinable, hence the term water fruits, I have to think, there must be dragon fruit in the scent, not because it would be a water fruit or because I smell it, no, because it smells like the dragon fruit looks, absolutely creamy vacation scent) warm, flattering, cheerful. A bit delicious, a bit Aloha, without Tahiti.

If I hadn't known what it was, I would have sniffed out the source and squeezed it. The funny thing is that during my tidying up, I had sorted out the Cavalli because it seemed too chaotic and piercing to me after spraying, and because I find the bottle so hideously ugly, and several scents have indeed been disqualified by me because of their bottles. But the fact that it smells so wonderfully beautiful has reignited my interest. Mistakes are ugly.

Sillage: I would have rated it more from loud to skin-close, but either the wearer over-sprayed or the sillage is more expansive than I thought.

Outside ugly, inside lovely

If I hadn't known that most Cavalli fragrances are actually quite nice, I would have never tested this scent. Because the bottle is so profoundly ugly that I'm almost embarrassed to have it in my collection. It's actually much uglier than it appears in the picture. The bottle suits made-up, overly glamorous girls with long fake nails, preferably adorned with glitter stones and floral patterns.

However... these girls shouldn't be judged solely by their appearance. Just like this fragrance. I remember an acquaintance from university, absolutely over-the-top. Even her apartment was completely painted pink (no joke!) and she had no restraint when it came to tiger patterns. I never rushed to get to know her, yet somehow we were in the same friend group.
BUT: she was an incredibly warm-hearted person, caring for everything and everyone. If someone seemed lonely, she would take them in. A synthetic shell, a soft core, so to speak.

And this fragrance is exactly like that. Right from the first spray, I feel enveloped in a velvety embrace. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed peach, but it seems to be mandarin. After that, it just gets warmer - just like a glimpse behind the facade of the supposed "bimbo." Frangipani is easily detectable, and at some point, the vanilla starts to vibrate. A light fruity note lingers throughout, not intrusive, just making it suitable for warm summer nights. A truly wonderful perfume.

I'm glad I looked behind the facade. With Cavalli and also with the girl.

Just Trash?

~ Inspiration ~
After "Just Cavalli Her" and "Just Cavalli Pink," this version also made it onto my watchlist.

~ Bottle ~
I find this bulky, colorful, shiny, "trash-like" bottle anything but appealing, and it doesn't match the Italian luxury brand.

~ Scent ~
It starts pleasantly fruity-citrusy with bergamot and mandarins. It gets an exotic touch from heliotrope and frangipani flowers (with sandalwood and cedar in the background). With creamy vanilla and roasted tonka beans, it finishes somewhat spicy and dry.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4-5 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). You can comfortably use a few sprays without it feeling overwhelming.

~ Occasion ~
A nice little scent for the mild and warmer days and evenings in spring and autumn (also suitable for the office).

~ Conclusion ~
I like it quite a bit until the base, but then it becomes a bit too unsweet and dry for me... PS: It doesn't smell as cheap or synthetic as one might assume from the terrible bottle :D
