Most underrated!!!

THIS is the first fragrance for which I constantly received compliments. From colleagues and strangers. I bought it in 2018 and I was overwhelmed by how much positive feedback you can get for a fragrance. After a long break, I found the bottle again when I moved house, sprayed it on again the next day at work and the compliments started pouring in again. This incredible freshness is overwhelming and it is not just a simple freshness like a cheap perfume, no, there is something in it that makes it so extremely interesting for you and your environment. My knowledge is not enough to explain which ingredient it is, it just smells delicious. The performance is also outstanding and I don't understand the lower ratings in any way. I was working in a large hall at the time and my colleagues knew I was there without having seen me, my scent was super present but not intrusive. Everyone enjoyed it and asked what it was. Yesterday a new order arrived and now there it is, the aluminum bottle between my Louis Vuitton and Xerjoff fragrances, a little shy and reserved, without knowing that it is in no way inferior to them and is one of my absolute favorites. Seriously, I almost put this fragrance on a par with LV Imagination, that's my honest opinion! Anyone who has not yet tried this fragrance should urgently organize a sample. The example of Alexandria II shows just how far claims and reality drift apart. It's an absolute top fragrance on Parfumo and on YouTube, but nobody "out there" likes it. I held it up to 10 people without giving my opinion, they were supposed to be completely neutral and all 10 confirmed my thoughts...... doesn't work, nobody can smell it. If you walk around the streets of Berlin with Alexandria II, the number 1 fragrance, you'll get a lot of rejection. This Gammon No. 2 is much worse rated, much cheaper BUT a magnet for compliments. Try it!!!!

Light creamy masculine crash

The first thing you can perceive is an intense and strong aromatic sweet herbaceous note, which amazingly brings something internally soothing and is due to the sage.

At the same time, the sage is enveloped by another herbaceous note, which is also quite strong and has very light citric nuances, which completely dispenses with sour accents and gives the top note a typical shower gel association and I suspected the interaction of bergamot and ginger, but this is apparently only from the bergamot.

These two notes are accompanied by a very subtle, lovely Mediterranean nuance, which gives the top note something pleasantly soft and comes from lavender.

A little later, the sage is much dimmer, but still well perceptible and combines with a fine aromatic, softly spicy note, which gives the fragrance a pleasant light masculine aura and is due to the nutmeg in combination with black pepper and it should be mentioned that the "shower gel - association" has now completely disappeared.

These two notes are accompanied by a very delicate, almost fragile, sweetly powdery, deeply spicy almond-like nuance with a subtle hint of vanilla, which gives the fragrance a certain, almost gourmand substance and I thought the use of tonka bean extract instead of coumarin was possible.

The whole heart note is underlined by a very beautiful aromatic, slightly sweet-spicy, creamy body lotion-like consistency, which gives the fragrance a smooth finish and for me personally can only be the cardamom.

Also in this composition, the synthetic in the base is simply so strong that it is simply "messed up" for my personal feeling and also has a real high nerve factor and you can smell the synthetic used simply suffering, or rather or simply not willing to hold it under somebody else's nose and still reminds me of overdosed cashmeran, but I can well imagine that this could be due to the musk used and I would simply want to mark this as an absolute downfall and unfortunately it makes it impossible for me to smell even the other notes of the base
Altogether the fragrance lasts 7 hours on my skin.

The Sillage is designed from the start to be very noticeable half an arm's length for 3 hours, before it is reduced in leisurely steps until the fragrance is finished.

I'm actually a person who only makes agreeable comments on Parfumo, seldom stumbles into the ground or simply dismiss it as an imitation. No, I even own some twin fragrances of Al Haramain and all sorts of other houses.

Only there is the difference: The fragrances are cheaper than the original and often have a similar performance and more modern interpretation.

It's not like that with Gammon's black suit. It's a more synthetic, worse and more expensive 1:1 imitation of something The One is supposed to remember. The copy is about as bold as breaking into someone's house, stealing the last chocolate pudding from the fridge and finally going to the toilet without flushing it. It's a miracle that they didn't put Jeremy in an old Opel Manta with one of his bunnies to "mock" the ingenious Street Of Dreams commercial with Matthew McConaughy and Scarlett Johansson as they drive through the streets in their Alfa Spyder
I can currently for about 80€ bring 100ml The One EDP into my possession, which smells more natural, lasts longer and does exactly the same, only better. For 100ml of this work I have to invest 200€...

Where does this money go?

The pocket sprayer is no better than other good quality others that can be thrown everywhere for little money and the group not above average good-looking specimens of the genus woman will probably have hardly devoured more money than 2 world-class actors as advertising figures to get.

Drugstore performance for niche prices, I'm disappointed. It's a good thing the tester was given to me.

No Suit - but hoodie? ;)

When I, personally, wear a suit, it's already very formal. Officially. It's about status. Representation. But, and above all, authenticity. From this context, I can not only absolutely understand the impulses from some statements here, but I can confidently sign them.

In short, Gammon 2 is not a suit for me.

Black Suit starts with a dominant salty note with a slightly fruity citric note of bergamot. The whole thing already looks round, but for a suit (and in my case) it's rather not the first choice. Of course, if I was in my early / mid-twenties, then maybe you could wear this scent to the interview. In the office with customer contact, maybe even. For a business meeting, I would strongly advise against it.

He has fresh aspects. A light shower gel note. The heart note may support here and there, I could unfortunately perceive e.g. from the pepper nothing. The fragrance itself has a conclusive effect, but without really tending in a concrete direction. For example, it is not a vetiver scent. But musk and vanilla grind in the drydown too much towards "pleasing mainstream". I would also certify a fresh, spicy profile rather than a woodiness.

Black Suit has a lot to offer and yet he lacks some profile. The certain something that could represent the wearer. Creating an identity. I've smelled a lot of things around here before.

At the same time I get more and more the impression that Gammon, with its four fragrances, has a younger target group in mind. I want to equip with a "scented wardrobe." Especially if you don't want to think much about fragrances and if you are not interested in perfumes (as most people do outside of perfumes), you will be well provided with a selection of the most common fragrances.

For me the "black suit" fits better in the leisure area or maybe even in the club. In the end, you have to be comfortable with a scent. After all, you wear it for yourself. Otherwise you're unauthentic in a T-shirt, too.

Wear whatever you want with the outfits you like.
