Sunlover

Nothing groundbreaking, a pleasant solar scent, take Olympēa Solar and mix in a bit of Eau de Soleil Blanc, the opening is zestier due to the bergamot, I also briefly thought of Tendre Madeleine, but it becomes powdery creamy towards the end... I had already experienced that with #White Obelisk... you really can't go wrong with it.

Long-lasting, sunny tropical feeling

"Ensoleille-moi", which translates to "Brighten me up" in a figurative sense. And this fragrance not only lives up to its name but also to what its notes promise: EM is a wonderful, sunny tropical scent.

Classic in the sense that the obligatory Tiarè flower is combined with the summer-favorite, vacation-feeling-inducing coconut-vanilla combo.
And yet somewhat unusual, because here all the "typically tropical" scent notes are truly present: Usually, in tropical fragrances, either coconut-vanilla or Tiarè or Ylang-Ylang sets the tone; but here all three have come together.

And fortunately, what comes out is harmoniously creamy with a slightly powdery finish. I couldn't detect bergamot, by the way; I must have missed any citrus freshness. It's also nice that neither coconut nor vanilla dominate; I can really only smell the Tiarè distinctly, which has a slightly sweeter scent thanks to the Ylang-Ylang flowers.

Some may find that EM reminds them of sunscreen -- I'm quite undecided whether the scent smells like suntan lotion to me, especially since it has a rather strong sillage, which I somehow don't associate with sunscreen. But the South Sea feeling definitely comes through for me.

The fragrance doesn't undergo much development on my skin, but its longevity is surprisingly good; even after 2 hours, I can still smell EM clearly and unchanged on my arm.

How nice that summer is coming soon. When it's still 27 degrees in the evenings here in July and time for a cocktail or two, EM will definitely be put to use!
