Gardenia garden

I bought this perfume this last summer in 100ml format directly because of its low price and because it was recommended as a fresh perfume by a youtuber that I really like how she reviews fragrances, Irasema from Memorias de un perfume, and I am so glad I listened to her, because she described it very nicely and it really is.
I have already emptied about 35ml in about two months, now that the cold has arrived I'm no longer using it but I am sure that when the heat returns I will finish it.
It is really a fresh perfume that does not bother people around you and is appropriate even in summer with very high temperatures.
I used it on skin and clothes because there is a lot of humidity where I live and when you sweat that much, any fragrance doesn't last long, but on clothes, it holds up to washes and washes, it's wonderful to open the closet and have this scent there hanging on your summer dresses.
It smells mainly of gardenia and petitgrain, but especially gardenia, a fresh gardenia. It is the smell that Monoi tiki tahiti oil that has a gardenia flower inside, but that is heavy smelling and sometimes overwhelming, on the other hand this perfume has nothing heavy or burdensome, it's refreshingly pleasant. Wonderful.

Beautiful Swan

The original Swan was ubiquitous in the 80s - and I enjoyed wearing it too.

But this bright flanker makes it shine again with white jasmine.

The neroli conveys the image of a clear lake where it glides smoothly - amidst an elegantly landscaped park.

Transparent cedar lingers in the air - and you sit down on a bench to rest - to enjoy the tranquility and admire the beauty of the swan.

The scent has a flowing quality - which allows my thoughts to flow as well.

And its natural elegance is also graceful.

It carries a spring-like essence - but is also quite wearable now, in winter.

A high-quality fragrance - that can certainly compete with more expensive ones.

Garden Swan

I had this fragrance on my shopping list for quite some time. But sometimes I forgot about it, then it was out of stock, and this time the price was right, as it was on sale again. Since there is never a tester available in my trusted drugstore, I didn't want to risk a blind buy at full price.

I did not regret the purchase, as it is a noble, slightly green spring fragrance. However, it can also be worn all year round. I would just take a break during the peak summer months, as the jasmine might become too overpowering then.

The opening is fresh, a bit green, but not like grass, rather slightly bitter and very pleasant. Jasmine quickly blends in, and with the later cedar, it creates a well-rounded scent that is greenish yet fresh and floral. None of the notes dominate. The fragrance exudes a certain elegance and can easily compete with more expensive scents.

Longevity is quite good. The bottle with the swan is exceptionally elegant for me and also a feast for the eyes without being opulent.

Late Love

At some point, I grabbed R. while passing by because it was on sale, and I thought I had owned this scent many years ago.
Nostalgia, then.
But no, this scent is unfamiliar to me. Upon spraying, it is beautifully fresh, green, and herbaceous.
So absolutely unisex.
I like that neroli and cedar are so present at the same time.
Very lively and refreshing; I perceive the floral notes as a pleasant accompaniment.
I can imagine that true perfume junkies with the highest standards might find it too synthetic, but for me, it’s primarily about the feeling a perfume evokes in me.
This top note brings energy.
And afterward, it remains green-fresh with floral companions.
When I want to smell damp, fresh-green nature, this green swan fits perfectly.
Not for every day, but perfect for days with a sense of new beginnings.
It also lasts quite well for several hours. And reapplying is not painful at this price.

A Summer Day in Central Park

New York is said to be one of the most versatile cities in the world. Always "on trend" and mostly for the better. This is also true when it comes to "urban greening." Where just a few years ago gray high-rise facades dominated the view, they have recently been partially "greened" on the outside with durable and low-maintenance plants. There are also more and more rooftop gardens and beautifully designed backyards.
And then there's the "green lung" of the metropolis: "Central Park," where something is always green and blooming in every season. In sheltered locations, you can even find "Mediterranean" and exotic plants. Accordingly, it should always smell quite diverse there. In summer, very green and floral, citrus-fruity from all sorts of container plants. And of course also "woody" from the many old trees. The freshness and crispness come from various grasses and not least from water features and ponds. It must be quite pleasant even on hot summer days.
The "jack-of-all-trades" woman Gloria Vanderbilt surely had a good eye, "touch," and "nose" for all this, as she had THIS fragrance created. Here I smell all of that, just as I can imagine it on a summer day in New York's "urban garden." Perhaps even in one of the rooftop gardens, "hanging facade gardens," and many a blooming green backyard :-))
