Vetiver Parfum Guerlain 2024

Vetiver and patchouli are a bit of a problem for me: they quickly become too grassy and sour, too edgy.
I tested the new vetiver from Guerlain in the perfume concentration in Paris and was absolutely in love with it. An absolute revelation for me, HOW FRESH and energetic well blended vetiver can smell. Licorice and tonka bean round off the fragrance perfectly. An experience from top note to DD and a safe, discreet companion. Coriander and juniper blend in just as skillfully. At the beginning like freshly showered (according to a friend), the fragrance never becomes too dry or unpleasantly grassy/sour. A great companion for spring, which is subtle in terms of sillage but lasts a long time. An outstanding release to my nose (it's amazing what Guerlain has delivered so far in 2024 with three new men's releases, all of high quality), Guerlain also sets standards in terms of value for money as always.
