The Cleaned Japanese High-Tech Toilet
Soapy scents are usually very specific, and many may not particularly like this fragrance direction. I enjoy soap notes when they are not too prominent and add something special to the actual composition. Soapy notes in perfumes are either caused by musk, coriander, certain flowers, or aldehydes.
Takashimaya develops such a strong soapy note on my skin that all other fragrance notes have no chance to develop. I suspect that a lot of musk has been used in this scent, as the soapy note comes across as unpleasantly deep-cleaned.
The intensity can be described as overwhelming, as our entire living room exudes the charm of a freshly cleaned Japanese high-tech toilet. You know, the kind that plays music while you pee, with a self-cleaning toilet seat and, in the case of a number two, immediately sprays Febreze in mass.
I wouldn't even want to smell this clean after a shower orgy.
Gomen'nasai.
