So is this supposed to be Cancer?
Apparently, the zodiac sign fragrances were developed in collaboration with a renowned astrologer. I want to mention upfront that I don't have much to do with astrology and horoscopes, but I sometimes wonder about the consistency of the character traits attributed to the individual zodiac signs, and there’s a whole bunch of different zodiac signs in my family, with everything from Capricorn to Sagittarius represented. But if this fragrance is supposed to characterize Cancer and fit it perfectly, then Cancers are the most banal and boring beings under the sun! Including myself. Oh, I might as well throw myself under a train! How has my husband managed to put up with me for 27 years without succumbing to boredom?
This fragrance is banal and boring! Actually, it’s not for Cancer, but for the a.....! I almost had to pin my nose to my arm just to catch a whiff. A light fruity and minty note, a few spices from grandma's kitchen shelf that have been drying out for 20 years. A bit of woodiness, and that’s it. Iris, which I usually smell from 10 meters away and which I really like in fragrances, is nowhere to be found here. This scent is snooze-worthy, with no notable sillage, and the longevity is terrible. Moreover, it’s more than liquid; it’s superfluous. I’m going to call all the Cancers I know and ask them about their boring lives.
