Nice fruity rose

I’ve realized that although I’d never really thought of myself as a rose person, I actually like rose fragrances that combine the floral with fruit. Rosefire does that nicely, with a fruity note (apricot?) that blends well with the rose. I don’t know davana well enough to recognize it, nor do I smell anything bitter enough in here to fit the description of that note that I’ve read.

After a while, a pleasant wine-like note emerges. Interesting.

This is one of my favourites in the Hermetica discovery set.

Clean rose

Rosefire Eau de Parfum is inspired by red roses and strangely Turkish Delight.

Hermetica uses their “Source1” accord in this blend. It’s light and great for cool weather. Violet is right under the rose, beautiful in its simplicity, plus they’re sustainable!

Top notes of rose absolute and violet accentuate its floral tones, while the Davana essence adds a liquorish side to its character, but not even close to Kilian Roses on Ice, where there’s a cucumber note.
It’s worth a try!

"Rosefire" places in the top 3 of Hermetica fragrances for me. Not too masterful achievement - but still. Not a bad roseimmergeher.

Dusty yet juicy - that's the balancing act that "Rosefire" manages to pull off, and while it doesn't seem fiery, it's tasty. I like roses anyway, so a little bonus for my taste. A slightly jammy sweetness underlies everything, the davana humanizes and sweats away. Nice play of opposites. Noble and recognizable. With idea and direction. Different from many of its siblings. Could wear well. Slightly metallic. Minimal violet liqueur. Has drive and a nice curve.

Flacon: here I would have rather wished a clear red
Sillage: noticeable Rosenkavalier in androgynous
Durability: 8-9 hours, more than most Hermeticas

Verdict: a creamy, muddy rose mica between delicious and grey. The dusty Davana helps here fiercely to break away from the uniform mush undercooled. High noses over futuristic lawn.
