The JAR brand was founded by Joel Arthur Rosenthal, a Paris-based art jeweler. Due to his exceptional skills, he is considered the best jeweler in the world and is referred to as the "Faberge of our time". He has been making eccentric bespoke pieces for the elite for many years.
Now that I know Jardenia, it is clear that the brand strives for perfection in raw materials and the composition of its fragrances - just as it does in the creation of works of art made from diamonds.
They give no information about notes used, only small hints. There is no price list. You can only buy them in the store and each customer may only purchase one bottle per year.
These hurdles have made my desire to own Jardenia a more difficult task than expected.
Was it worth it? YES. Jardenia is an outstanding white-flowered creation in which the gardenia is the main protagonist.

That about sums up my first impression of what this fragrance feels like.
It captures the beautiful radiant nature of gardenia, has additional distant green notes, soft decay, mushrooms, lichen, petrichor, teen notes ... it feels very natural, authentic and is exactly what my heart needs at the end of the year.
I would recommend the fragrance to more advanced noses, as pretty much nothing in this perfume is based on well-known, modern, popular fragrances and could therefore offend. When you first apply it, the abundance of floral oils knocks your socks off, it lasts upwards of 10 hours on me and the sillage is very high, especially at the beginning.
