Denver Clan and Dallas say hello
This fragrance is a worthy representative of the high-society TV series that brought Texas-Colorado chic into German households back in the day. Oh, how broad were the shoulders, oh, how high were the hairdos, oh, how colorful were the clothes, oh, how shadowy were the eyes!! - well, we have that again now and it's called "smoky eyes" and "colour-blocking".
The scent is clearly dominated by lily of the valley, a defiant lily of the valley, a shady lily of the valley. The rose adds depth, I don't perceive coconut, neither in the background nor anywhere else. But amber with musk in the base, that I do, although this stubborn lily of the valley is also involved there.
Back in my Avon Lady days, the fragrance sold like hotcakes. Not to mention the matching jewelry.... that was also available!! Wonderful, when I think back to how we all (well, almost all) looked. Spacy!!!
