Sweet, light, autumn and Winter fragrance

Jaguar excellence intense Is a sweet fragrance based on the fruity note of the Orange, the sweatness of the cardamom, vanilla e tonka combo and the freshness of the marine notes and flowers. It smells Amazing for a very low price. The quality Is really High and the fragrance Is versatile. I really reccomend It.

Reminds me of Bentley Intense

A nice fragrance from the car makers from Jaguar. Longevity is decent and you cannot beat the price and the bottle is very attractive too. It looks like a very heavy and well built fragrance with fruity flowery notes followed by a tonka/amber drydown. I really need to start wearing this fragrance more often and looking at it on my shelf i sometimes confuse it with Bentley Intense lol. The look very similar. It's a safe blind buy because it's safe and i think a lot of people will find it favorable. Jaguar has a lot of good quality fragrances for less and i play to own all of them eventually.

Niche Quality at a bargain price

This is a fragrance that really surprised be. It has a really nice scent structure and for me the Iris is the star. It is between that lipsticky and powdery smell which ends up smooooooth. Performance is really good, smell it the next morning even though it was a skin scent after 10 hours. On clothes it is there until the wash. And the bottle is a really classy design, the whole package shouts class. If you did not know this was made by Lalique! Nice job, and can’t beat the price, but this one is getting harder to find, hopefully it is not discontinued.

Sheikh in a European Luxury Car

It seems that the good perfumer Richard Ibanez has a slight inclination, if not even a weakness for the Oriental. Didn't he also serve as a perfumer for Charriol and Divine? Now, while a Jaguar may stand in every Sheikh's garage, it doesn't necessarily mean that a Jaguar fragrance should smell like a Sheikh.

The opening features clear mandarin, but it is completely overwhelmed by cardamom, the peppery note, and the all-encompassing anise.
This is not to be seen negatively, but it does come across as somewhat chaotic, especially since it has a powerful sillage. The anise note holds its ground until floral notes emerge after a few minutes.
Orange blossom stands out clearly here, although one would expect iris and violet to join it, it remains almost solely with anise. I don't notice the marine accord at all, but the interplay of the top and heart notes evokes a lightly perfumed leather. I even thought of saffron blind without the fragrance pyramid, and somehow a hay-like note came to my nose, which could be due to all that salad as a mixture.

Gradually, it becomes increasingly vanilla-like; the strong tonka and minimal amber note keep it oriental and spicy.
It clearly heads towards the Orient here, but one thing is certain, it is not suitable for everyday wear. If I were to wear it, not just in winter, but nearly year-round (excluding summer), it can be applied worry-free as an evening fragrance.

Caution with the dosage, it has a powerful sillage and surely reaches beyond an arm's length.

I found the longevity to be enormous, thus the 73% (currently) is justified.

The bottle is extremely heavy and looks anything but cheap, the sprayer is good, and if it weren't for the faux metal cap, everything would be great here.

All in all, I find that the mixture of the chosen spices is somewhat unusual, but since it would have otherwise just become a vanilla bomb, let's leave it at that!

Price-performance is good, evening fragrance under 30,- and those who dare not to try fragrances from Dubai and the like will be well served with Jaguar Excellence Intense.

I rated it 70% and many like it even better.

Have you had Anis't today?

How I came to this fragrance, I can no longer say exactly.

I definitely bought it for a mere €23 for 100ml on Amazon.

It should be noted that this fragrance is no longer in my collection, as I gifted it.

And there was only one reason for that: Anis.

Jaguar Excellence Intense starts off absolutely mainstream, with pepper, anis, and mandarin clearly noticeable; the pepper is dosed just right, so you won't get any sneezing fits.
The mandarin is truly not the best, coming across as if it has been lying in the blazing sun for a few hours.

And anis, and not in small amounts.

Twenty minutes later, the wind carries the scent to my nose, and I perceive something aquatic and somewhat intangible, as if one had worn a fragrance and splashed cold water on their neck and throat because it is unbearably hot outside.

A slight tendency towards sweetness is noticeable, a small hint of iris is also present, but I unfortunately cannot make out any violet.
The orange blossom, however, comes through beautifully, having been used in its fullest bloom, and then there is still the anis.

Six hours later, something breathtaking happens; one perceives a wonderfully warm, sweet, caressing vanilla that one would want to immerse oneself in.
The amber and tonka bean are the two components that support the vanilla but do not overpower it.

I like the base note the best in this fragrance, but still, the anis is very strongly noticeable, just like at the beginning, which unfortunately spoils the fragrance for me.

The scent is perceptible on the skin for a good 9 hours, the sillage is well done, but still becomes a skin scent after the 4th hour.

At first, I was very drawn to the fragrance, but with each wear, the anis became more present and stronger, leading me to decide to gift this fragrance.

David was very happy with the fragrance, as he likes anis scents.

I was able to bring someone joy, so in the end, everyone is somehow excellently happy.

I was able to test the EdT several times at Rossmann and ordered the EdP blind (great price). Bullseye. Much stronger, fresher, and more appealing top.
