Club / Party Fragrance

A pleasant, well-scented, synthetic fragrance. Conceptually comparable to well-known Joop fragrances like Joop! Jump Eau de Toilette or Nightflight Eau de Toilette, which are perfectly made for the mainstream. A typical going-out scent - less for a meeting with a woman, but more for an evening with the guys at the club. Conceptually also very comparable to Blue Jeans: A youthful fragrance with going-out vibes for parties or nightlife. Absolutely fine for the price. Smells good.

Better Era?

I tested the regular Jaguar Era and even though the rest of the review is independent of the Jaguar Era, I must say that it is the better of the two.

After smelling the Jaguar Era often a few years ago, I now also saw the Era Reloaded in my trusted drugstore and felt compelled to test this one as well.

The Era Reloaded, when sprayed, reminds me a bit of its predecessor Era with its citrus notes, but I find it to be of higher quality in the drydown with its fruity freshness mixed with a slight spiciness. Yes, it smells like an EDT from a designer, but not directly like Sauvage or Bleu de Chanel. It gradually becomes less fruity and more creamy woody until in the end a bit of musk and wood remains.

It lasts better than its predecessor, but it is not a longevity monster. So, one should not expect more than 4 hours of projection from others. However, the Era Reloaded is still a fragrance that does its job for everyday wear, the office, or school.

It is a solid fragrance, and I really don't understand the average rating of 6.6/10, as it performs better than the regular Era for the price.
I ended up seeking the comparison more often than announced, but it is indeed fitting here!

It's Saturday and...

... I'm getting ready for my weekly shopping. What should I quickly put on? For the occasion, this is the right scent and just what I need. So I apply it and head out to shop.

Upon applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is a citrus accord. This is supported by the sweetness of pineapple and the greenness of an apple. Additionally, there is the sharp freshness of mint. This scent is rounded off with the sweetness of caramel and tonka bean. It becomes slightly powdery due to the musk, while the patchouli adds a certain dry note. There's also a hint of woodiness.

I don't see (or smell) any similarity to Sauvage by Dior or Bleu de Chanel by CC here.

The longevity and sillage are average, which is fine given the price. After all, this is an affordable drugstore fragrance.

This is again a scent that I see fitting for every age group and can be worn as an all-rounder for any occasion and any season.

If you enjoy a citrusy fresh sweet fragrance, this is the right choice at a great price.
