Short-term tomato with tea
Today I present a cologne from Jardin de France. To be honest, this is my second Cologne of this fragrance series, but I like it much better than the first one I tested at that time (Impérieux Vétiver). While the first one was rather insignificant for me, this one can be used as a refreshing cologne in summer.
There's also tea! Tea! Tea! You get the idea, tea-tea-tea-tea! :DD
(Don't hesitate to tell me I'm talking nonsense again! ...or wait... no, don't, don't. :D). But teaeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! :DD
In the heart note, however, one mainly smells thyme, so that the fragrance becomes a little spicier and herbaceous.
And in the base, the scent becomes a little sweeter and even powderier through the jasmine and musk. Generally a beautiful fragrance for in between, although nothing really spectacular.
With regard to shelf life, Colognes always has a reason to cry, as this fragrance does not smell for more than two hours. I would even say that after only one hour there is hardly anything left, because as I said the Sillage is diminishing very fast and soon you can hardly smell anything.
This fragrance from Jardin de France is more of a cologne (unlike Impérieux Vetiver, for example) and actually refreshes because of the stronger bergamot, albeit only briefly, which is the case with most colognes.
It also smells very pleasant, at first even surprisingly like tomatoes (which is something different), whereby these notes disappear very quickly and the scent smells more like bergamot and later jasmine. I would have liked more tea, but apparently you can't have everything. So I'm going to make myself a cup of tea, now that it's not so hot, a cup of tea is a good idea, isn't it? Even my hangover doesn't mind tea! Of course he doesn't drink it (which wouldn't be soo healthy for him either!), but he doesn't exactly wrinkle his nose like he does with coffee, for example. There you go again, how great tea is! Except maybe the hideous rose hip tea, yuck! :DD
A test can be worthwhile for all those who melt quickly in midsummer and complain about the heat waves, as the fragrance is firstly quite affordable and secondly can be an alternative to fragrances like 4711

The fragrance:
It begins with refreshing lemon and orange, and is quickly joined by green tea. The lemony scent comes both from bergamot and probably from the so-called Litsea cubeba, which belongs to the laurels and, according to Google, is supposed to spread a lemony scent among other things, but it also spreads another, very well known scent. Namely, as Angua has already recognized, the scent also smells slightly like tomatoes, as if you rub your hand on tomato bushes and smell it. In the heart note, however, one mainly smells thyme, so that the fragrance becomes a little spicier and herbaceous.
And in the base, the scent becomes a little sweeter and even powderier through the jasmine and musk. Generally a beautiful fragrance for in between, although nothing really spectacular.
The shelf life and Sillage:
The Sillage seems to be there almost only to refresh you while spraying, only to disappear again afterwards. By this I mean that the Sillage is really weak, so that one could spray again after half an hour. With regard to shelf life, Colognes always has a reason to cry, as this fragrance does not smell for more than two hours. I would even say that after only one hour there is hardly anything left, because as I said the Sillage is diminishing very fast and soon you can hardly smell anything.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and looks very classic, which is nice. The label shows the name and brand of the fragrance together with a beautiful logo. The lid has a screw cap, because the bottle has no spray head, but can optionally be equipped with a ball pump (although I can't tell if the pump is included, which should be the case...). All in all, it's nice. This fragrance from Jardin de France is more of a cologne (unlike Impérieux Vetiver, for example) and actually refreshes because of the stronger bergamot, albeit only briefly, which is the case with most colognes.
