Great performance and projection
I enjoyed every part of this fragrance from the sweet, fruity opening to the late dry down. The fruit is not too sweet and it isn't cloying to me. I don't enjoy rose fragrances, but this rose in the mid was just the perfect intensity and balanced with the patchouli. The base was woody enough to balance the sweet, and it just makes for a really lovely experience. I put it on prior to working, and 8.5 hours later when I returned home my husband got approximately 2 feet from me and told me I smelled really good, so that should speak to the performance. My second favorite from the house following only 1970.

The most luxurious air freshener I've ever smelled.
Personal: 9/10 - I love the fruity sweetness of this one. Good complexity on the base too.
Mass appeal: 8.5/10 - Most will really enjoy it. Not everyone will enjoy the intense fruits, though.
Performance: 7/10 - Lasts and projects pretty well, though it's not amazing.
Value: 6/10 - Niche prices, but this one is actually kind of worth it (it's beautiful, so).
Uniqueness: 8/10 - The blend of fruits with gentle woods and vanilla is not unheard of, but this one does it SO well.
SCORE: 77/100

Full bottle buy? YES, I love the fruity ambers with the gentle base.
Blind buy? YES, if you like (not synthetic) sweet fruits, this one is quite safe.
Recommend? YES, one of the better sweet, fruity niche fragrances on the market.
Date night? YES, absolutely, for fun dates. Not steakhouse approved.
Office safe? YES, it's perfectly professional but don't overspray it.

Pros: Natural fruits, sweetness, and summery-fall vibes in a bottle.
Cons: Expensive. Performance is okay. Some may call it boring, even.

It smells like the most luxurious air freshener I've ever smelled. I love how it opens with bright, realistic fruits that get rounded out by a slightly warm spicy, woody, vanilla filled base. It doesn't smell like a niche fragrance, or designer, it just smells beautiful. It's definitely in masterpiece territory, and even as a guy, I would totally rock it. It's not particularly masculine, but that's okay. Though the frutiness can get cloying if it sticks around for too long. This one lends itself best to 2 or 3 sprays.

Fruit in a bottle, and it's beautiful. Just don't get too trigger happy.

Great fruity scent with a beautiful pineapple-pear combo
The First Collection by Rosendo Mateu is already a fantastic collection, which of course has generated a lot of attention with "5 - Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk (Eau de Parfum) | Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions." The other releases from this brand seem to not quite achieve the same success. With "6 - Jasmine, Sandalwood, Oriental Musk (Eau de Parfum) | Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions," there is another good scent in the lineup that I also own and appreciate. I find the in-house brand of the Spanish perfumer quite successful, and there are some interesting releases. Generally, I really like concepts where the main theme and key notes are immediately recognizable. He is indeed a great perfumer who has proven his craft with many brands. I had to test this somewhat newer 8 due to the pyramid. With beautiful fruity top notes, I am easily won over, especially by more exotic notes like pineapple and pear. Amber and musk naturally always work well in the base and round this off nicely. So I had to get a sample, and I have tested this scent several times to get a good impression.

The overall package of this brand is great: You get an elegant packaging, a very beautiful bottle that appears and looks very high quality, and of course a wonderful scent. The RRP of €190 for 100ml is probably a bit high, but many of this brand are available for around €100. This price is absolutely fair and worth it.
This scent here doesn't have too many surprises, and you get exactly what is promised and what you expect: A fruity top note, rose-patch-amber in the heart note, and a sweet-woody drydown with clean musk. In order, this scent starts very fruity with an authentic pineapple-pear combo and also a hint of green apple that is not sweet. A great fruity top note that is very pleasing and likable. It follows a rose-patch combo with amber, which carries through to the base. A great transition from fruit to this rose-patchouli combo with warm amber and also a slightly spicy cinnamon note. The cinnamon note is not festive and does not detract from this wonderful fruity lightness. The base comes with a lot of sweet vanilla, which is not too sticky. Along with a sensual woody guaiac and cedarwood combo. Very pleasing and easy to wear. Overall, an uncomplicated mix with seamless transitions. It harmonizes well, but the big kick is missing. For everyday wear, it is a really great option, as it doesn't stand out too much. Additionally, it is 100% unisex.
Performance is quite good, and you would expect this from this creation with these notes. This scent lasts around 10 hours. The fruity notes naturally fade after 1-2 hours, while the warmer and woodier notes remain very active for a long time and also have a good sillage.

Overall, once again a great creation from a wonderful perfumer. A harmonious work with a very lovely fruity top note.

Nr.8 is not so well-known, but it will also find its fans
The Nr.8 by Rosendo Mateu is not really known yet.
The benchmark is the well-known Nr.5, and rightly so. The Nr.5 is a dream, but the Nr.8 can really do something too! This fragrance should definitely be tested. I suspect it will find some fans as well.

The scent starts off beautifully fruity, but not just the "standard" fruity. The fruity notes are immediately supported by amber and radiate a certain warmth.
In any case, I find the pear to be relatively prominent. The pear comes across really well and, together with the pineapple, adds another fruity aspect that provides a certain fruit sweetness.
Thanks to the amber note, which is also quite noticeable, the fruity notes gain a warm and comforting quality right away.

Over time, the fragrance becomes deeper and develops even more "warmth." The amber accord intensifies, woody notes noticeably come into play, and the fruity notes become a bit milder. The patchouli also leaves its mark on the scent.
It gives the fragrance a certain depth as well.

The longer the fragrance sits on the skin, the less the fruity notes are perceived. They completely disappear for me over time. Now it is predominantly woody, but still pleasantly spicy with a certain warming sweetness.

The fragrance is definitely unisex and the performance is perfectly okay to good.
The Nr.8 by Rosendo Mateu lasts about eight hours on my skin and projects quite well at the beginning.

Credit Rosendo for letting you know what to expect. Muted fruitiness in the top/mid followed by sweet/musky drydown. Nice but unspectacular.

Fruit cocktail in vanilla ice cream, very well-made scent, no standout notes. H+S are very good. Delicious fruity scent with cinnamon, amber.

Cinnamon fruit puree, the pear practically screams, "EAT ME."
A harmonious rose skillfully rounds off this scent.
Nicely done.

Starts with authentic pear and a hint of pineapple; then gradually becomes dry-woody and warmer; unfortunately, a subtle scent on me.

Intense pear and a hint of pineapple shine through. There's also some rose, amber. Over time, it becomes woodier and gains more depth. Beautiful!

Reminds me of the old Garnier styling product. Very fruity, banana and pear in the foreground. Too young for me..

This fruity, juicy top note of apple, pineapple & pear is really great. The fruit salad later turns into wood with gentle spice, beautifully cinnamon-like.
