Vermeils Frischling
The color of the bottle already suggests what to expect here. A bright, fresh spring and summer fragrance. Unfortunately, there is almost no information available about this company, nor about the composition of this scent. I am also not sure if the offered products are merely leftover stock. Perhaps someone here knows something more precise and interesting about the brand. Regardless, this makes it difficult for me, as I can only break down the individual components rudimentarily.
I can agree with the statement that it is a light, spicy office scent. You certainly won't encounter it again anytime soon;). However, I don't really detect any consciously floral notes.
The opening starts sour-herb-fresh, with hints reminiscent of Drakkar Noir (could that be grapefruit/rosemary?). It's citrusy, but not very bergamot-like. Then, it transitions to the heart and base notes with a pleasantly fresh-soapy character. But not an annoying, powdery one like iris. Rather, it has a pleasing, classic "aftershave note" (mild soap?). Really nice and not sweet (no tonka bean:), herbaceous and refreshing. I like that.
The sillage is quite strong at first, but then transitions to a softer dose and remains with very good longevity in that fresh-soapy, well-groomed style. A nice "men's classic aftershave scent."
