A popular perfume by Jean Louis Vermeil for men, released in 1988. The scent is spicy-woody. Projection and longevity are above-average. The production was apparently discontinued.

Dark Gray Smoke.
The fine arts - the beautiful arts.
There’s really nothing to be found out about Bozart itself, at most other bottles from the house are sold as artist bottles, collector's items, it seems.
Is this a fragrance experiment? The Bozart was apparently not distributed in large numbers, there’s practically nothing available on the market, nor to learn.

Dark gray, that’s what I associate with the scent, not a life-affirming light gray, no, dark, Bozart is not here for fun. Deeply spicy from the very beginning, smoke in abundance, probably incense, possibly resin. It has no trace of freshness, it doesn’t bother with that, rather it presents itself to me as a dried-up bog under a layer of smoke.
In my opinion, this is the signature scent of Ebenezer Scrooge.

It is *never* unisex, or someone at beaux arts had a strange sense of humor.
Even the Yeti is laughing.

The Yeti...
... is likely to be encountered more often than this fragrance. No owner, just a review and no comment, year of release unknown, and not even available as a mini on the bay. I would like my esteemed colleague Schmörkes to explain to me where he found the decant he sent me...

About the scent: I have to estimate or guess and would say the fragrance is from the mid-70s to early 80s. Old School, yes, even very Old School, it definitely is. A classic spicy men's fragrance, without any sweetness and without frills, straightforward and NATURAL. I even think I can detect a certain similarity to one of my absolute favorites from the 80s, the also very unknown "Mark Cross," namely this slight "metallic" spiciness. The classification here as "unisex" confuses me a bit. This scent is truly "robust" and exceedingly masculine.

I have not come across a rarer rarity than this one so far. Let's see how long I remain the only commentator on this fragrance here. Colleague Schmörkes, take it away...

From herbs, roses, and glue
Bozart's Zino beast arises
On sandalwood and cedar
And of course also on me
It marks its territory abundantly

Timeless scent, herbal, thorny rose. Doesn't stand out from other classic men's fragrances. Quite solid.

The fifth element. That's probably how "Mr. Shadow" would smell on the surface. Smoky, floral, spicy, sweet-resinous. Big Badaaa-Bummm!

Incredibly beautiful, green-herbaceous, spicy-powdery, woody scent with an 80s vibe.
Immediate association with Zino, but much better. Really great!

The parallels to the original Zino are more than clear, the differences are hard to find. Sweet, spicy, sensual, smoky. I'm thrilled.

Bozart is a solid man's scent. Refreshing spice bomb. Loud, masculine, slightly sweet, and yes, reminiscent of Zino. Still unisex.

If the original Zino smelled like this, I don't want to wear my reformulated version anymore :( A more herbal and interesting version of Zino.

In my opinion, it can't compare to the original Zino that my father-in-law wore, as this one is much more animalistic.

Great herbal men's scent. Zino is noticeable, but Bozart is greener, stronger, and more animalistic.
It's a shame it's nowhere to be found.
