Maritime sails into patch territory
Compared to the two other Maritime's I've tested (Maritime and Maritime Voyage) Maritime Triumph is more of a woody fragrance with slight spiciness. Patchouli is obvious but it's pretty smooth and not overbearing. Underneath it all is the same base found in the other two, namely a fresh/synthetic scent.
Longevity was surprisingly good - the best of the three so far. I got about a little less than 6 hours out of it. Projection was mild as with the other two. It would make for a nice fragrance on a hot summer day, especially for a guy who prefers more subtle fragrance.
The full retail price is ridiculous, of course, but a 4.2 oz bottle can be picked up at discounters for less than $30.
