Very helpful Review

In the nursery with the baby sharks.
Today, while cleaning up and re-sorting the perfume cabinet, I came across this beautiful Deseo flacon
Yes... where are you from, my little darling... I haven't sniffed you for ages... come here... you are such a pretty bottle....
Short spray, oh, still very good. I remembered that I hadn't worn the fragrance for over 10 years - and it was such a great holiday romance
...........I remembered that in 2009 we actually managed to plan our holidays by treating ourselves to a few saltwater envelopes. Salt water envelopes are for my husband and me the synonym for diving holidays. We have been diving for over thirty years
Since we prefer to travel rather than spend our holidays, there are only a few locations that come into question for a diving holiday. Red Sea, always. Caribbean is not so interesting for us. Andaman Sea Thailand, yes. But if you want to hang out in addition, which is what I understand by hanging out, only the Maldives came into question.
I don't want to leave unmentioned that we have been avoiding the luxury resorts there for a long time. Who needs Swarovski stones covered toilet seats, or an underwater restaurant?
I am satisfied with the barefoot island with beach bungalos, with pleasure with an interesting house reef. In the evening the sundowners, good food and excellent room service. Also a well equipped diving center with Nitrox tanks, nice people on the Doni and a private guide for the first dives.
In 2009 it was Vakarufalhi, the island was not yet luxuriously pimped. A typical fried egg island, with a lagoon, the nursery of small reef sharks. They are a bit longer than a forearm - so they are really still babies and very curious. If you stop, they come to you and examine your calves with a gentle snip.
Most of the time you fly to the Maldives via the Emirates or Oman, where there is still a stay and you have enough time for the perfumery. I think in 2008 we had a stopover in Sharjah.

Which finally brings me to the fragrance. An unusual test bottle caught my eye as I was roaming around. A bizarrely shaped gemstone, lid and flacon merge into each other. A first sprayer and... ...my holiday began....
Only when the bottle is emptied does it become apparent that it is made of light blue coloured glass.
The bitterness of the Yuzu fruit and a particular aquatic accord that I couldn't place captivated me immediately... I misted myself up a little with the perfume and hurried to the checkout. Our plane was already called and the husband waved impatiently from afar...
Relatively quickly, a sandalwood base appeared and to my great delight the fragrance turns more into a floral one, without giving up the aquatic note, and thus remains for many hours. Much later, all the other base notes appear, with the aquatic note and a hint of flowers hovering quietly above it until the passing of time.
For me, Deseo will remain unforgettably connected with diving 2009 in the Maldives. It is a summery, sensual and erotic island feeling scent for me... When my husband helped me to peel me out of my suit after the dive and a scent melange of exotic flower accords, sandalwood, neoprene and my saltwater skin tickled his nose....
Apart from Deseo, I don't know any other popstar fragrances. (Could I change...)
and after so many years, I still find it adorably wearable.
