Mediocre pink floral

If I had to choose the best out of the Glow series, I would most likely say Love at First Glow.

Unique, it certainly is not, however the scent itself is quite pleasant and pretty. The fruits are not overly strong, just soft enough to compliment the floral notes.

I would describe Love at First Glow as being fresh and somewhat clean smelling. It reminds me of the scent of freshly washed hair and aromatic soaps. It is also sweet without being too overbearing.

Unfortunately I find this fragrance to be a little synthetic. The blend of jasmine, rose and vanilla just doesn't seem to convince me.

The lasting power is surprisingly quite good, however on my skin the drydown turned out to be a nightmare. I can only compare the base notes to something that smelt like moldy, unwashed socks. However, I assume this was due to my skin chemistry and not the fragrance itself.

Overall, Love at First Glow is a nice scent, mostly marketed towards younger consumers. In my personal opinion, I find Jennifer Lopez's Live series to be much more enjoyable and daring.

The sexy lady is no longer in her 20s - but she is still irresistibly beautiful without being overdone.
A natural beauty.

And her fragrances are never unnaturally "made up" but rather appeal through a casual attractiveness.

Thus, Love at First Glow is a pleasantly uncomplicated summer scent - capturing the sunshine.
It is fresh and fruity with bergamot and peach - and neroli adds a gentle coolness.
The rose radiates velvety femininity.
Light woods and sweet vanilla provide a sensual kick.

One feels like adding a lively hip swing to their walk.

With Love at First Glow, I feel a bit like a sultry Latina.

First love

My "first love" when it comes to perfumes. The word "juicy" describes this scent best. Sweet, fruity, zesty, and youthful-fresh. The pendant can be used as a phone charm.
Unfortunately, there is only 1 ml left in my bottle (a rarity, as I usually never finish a perfume), so I have to use it sparingly.
It’s one of those scents for which I would gladly pay double (but I'm glad it's so affordable ;) )
Aside from the bottle shape, this fragrance has nothing in common with its big sister Glow.

As it looks, so it smells

I am a confessed Glow fan ;-)
I had to test this little gem right away. It was once available at Schlecker for a super low price (9.95€ for 50 ml), but there were no testers. I thought to myself, for that price you can't go wrong. And that was true!
I like to use the fragrance in spring/summer; it is light and lovely, fresh. For me, after Glow, it's the best Glow variant.

Addendum 06.02.2011:
By now, I reach for it less and less. I find the scent now synthetic and scratchy. There are better ones in the floral-light category. Therefore, it went from 90% down to 50%.
