one of my favorites

that has accompanied me for many years. I have repeatedly repurchased it. Unfortunately, it is no longer available for purchase anywhere. Except at our trusted auction house, sometimes at outrageous prices.
Fortunately, I still have two 75 ml bunker bottles at home. My mother also loves the scent very much, so it is "cross-generational".
For me, the longevity is good, it easily lasts 8 hours. Darkk Sapphire always envelops me like a cashmere scarf, I love it on cooler days, as it unfolds in a truly caressing way. A comfort for the soul. It’s probably due to the star anise and gingerbread.
Dark Sapphire, I will miss you when my bunker bottles eventually run out.

I have to say, Jette surprises me time and again.
Dark Sapphire is a beautiful smooth fragrance that impresses me with its gingerbread aroma.
Star anise also pairs excellently with it.
Heliotrope and rose add a floral touch.
The sandalwood communicates wonderfully with the other ingredients.
However, I don't find the sapphire dark, rather it has a bright shimmer.
Unfortunately, the longevity is only moderate, but it's definitely suitable as a daytime fragrance.

Jette is a Nice One

...and not just because it rhymes so beautifully!
I got a Jette Joop blouse and thought I should check if Jettchen's fragrances are just as lovely. Dark Sapphire had to be tested, especially since it was on sale and has been so harshly criticized here.

At first spray, I wasn't blown away, but I was quite taken: pleasantly fruity, with a non-aquatic, zesty freshness that doesn't impose itself. Also not overly sweet.
Over time, the greenish freshness takes a backseat, and the fruits - something else must have sneaked in from the fruit basket besides mandarin! - are now seasoned with vanilla sugar, but very skillfully dosed. The rose adds warm floral notes without taking center stage. The spices - star anise and gingerbread - are also subdued and hardly detectable individually. The soapy clean sandalwood provides a corresponding overtone, giving the whole thing an adult touch. Essentially, this dark sapphire is a vanilla-heavy fruity-floral scent that is very pleasing. Therefore, I cannot understand the harsh criticisms from my predecessors.
Jette Joop prefers it quieter and less flashy than her father, but that's not a crime.
The longevity is really not impressive, but it's not extremely bad either. The scent quickly becomes quite close to the skin, and it remains that way for a few hours.
Based on the other comments, one might expect a sweet fruity mess like Escada, but that impression is misleading. Jette's Dark Sapphire is much less candy-like, much softer and more flattering than most Escadas. However, it is not a gem; it is too generic for that: I don't think I would recognize this scent on someone.
But I think it could make a nice gift for people who like vanilla and don't have a strong preference for fragrances, but just want to "smell good" when they spray on a scent.

Jette's Sticky Sweetness

"Dark Sapphire" is one of the many fragrances that promises a lot (top note) but does not deliver on that promise (base!).
After a complex beginning, only a sticky gingerbread sweetness remains.

As in life, you buy something that you think you must have, the advertising was promising, but then... a long face on my part, I like sweet but this is even too much sweetness for me, the scent is not lasting either, so once and never again :-(
