Very different to the EDP
I was surprised to discover that the EDT differs considerably in terms of composition to the EDP which I tried only months before. Jimmy Choo EDP seems to be a lot heavier on the patchouli, and in turn a lot less fresh than the EDT.

I'll start by saying that I personally prefer the EDP due to my love for patchouli, but for patchouli haters, the EDT may be a better choice overall. This fragrance is quite fruity and dry.

From the very word go, Jimmy Choo EDT opens with mashed pear, spicy ginger and tarty rose. It tends to sway ever so slightly towards being a chypre, but it's ultimately too fruity and juicy to call it so.

In my opinion, the dominant pear accord when blended with the cedar in the heart, isn't exactly a pleasant blend, at least to my nose. I find the overall composition a little bitter and acrid, but then again, that's just my opinion.

In warmer weather, the composition tends to smell a lot sweeter, with a hint of subtle soapiness. However if worn in the cooler weather, or by someone with the wrong skin chemistry, the cedar note is far too dominant, giving Jimmy Choo EDT that bitter and masculine edge.

In this case, you'll either choose the EDT or the EDP as your poison of choice. Very rarely will it be the two of them together. I must add however, that the longevity is fantastic, very lasting and bold on the skin.

A Fresher Version of the Eau de Parfum
I really don't care for the eau de parfum of this fragrance as I find it too sweet and earthy for my tastes, but I love this version. It is such a pretty, sparkling, fruity floral that's a little spicy, slightly sweet; and thankfully doesn't have that nauseating patchouli note that is in the edp. It also lacks the sticky toffee sweetness, so it wears much cleaner and fresher too. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have no issue with silage or longevity. It lasts on me for many hours before having to do a touch up. When it finally becomes a skin scent, it smells like the prettiest peppery rose I've ever smelled.

I can think of a dozen fragrances that smell similar, so it's certainly not unique to the fruity floral genre, but there is something about this that sets it apart from the crowd. Speaking of crowds, this is a crowd pleaser that never fails to bring in the compliments. Whether at work or out and about, someone always asks me what I am wearing and how much they like it. Though I wear perfumes for myself, it's still nice to know that others enjoy it too.

Some people find it wonderfully basic, others don't.
I sold the bottle. The bottle is so cute.
The scent has a tingly smell at first, which quickly changes to a strong shampoo-like smell. It's a rather strong scent.
This may not be a review at all, but I feel very uncomfortable when "popular with everyone" and "popular." I laughed at the expression,This is what someone said, "new pages of a magazine." but I think they were talking about the top note "smells like glue." That really gets it. It's like Aron Alpha (Krazy Glue). Also, it has the scent of a perfume that conservative gals would smell like. I don't really recommend it.It has a metallic synthetic smell.

Soapy delicacy
Surprisingly, I really like this blind buy! It’s my second one from Jimmy Choo and another success. Such a perfect everyday perfume: soft, delicate, beautifully soapy/shampooy and definitely office friendly! It’s such an easy perfume and its clean like freshly washed hair! Plus, the bottle is super cute :)

There are better ones, but you should get your chance...
I have passed by this brand for a very long time. Until I once won it for "pocket change" on eBay. For the amount I spent, it was a real surprise. It flatters my nose, albeit somewhat artificially, which isn't too bothersome since it neither stings nor scratches... However, it is really extremely close to my skin. So, the sillage is practically non-existent. I also can't notice any significant development; after just 5 minutes it becomes skinny and warmer, then remains nice and unobtrusive, without surprises, but solidly suitable for daytime wear. A scent that will hardly steal anyone's senses. However, I can hardly imagine anyone turning away in disgust. It puts me in a good mood, without wanting to smell it daily. Nevertheless, I am glad that I took it "blind," and it will surely be my companion more often in the upcoming spring months, or a good starter for the morning hours.

First sweet pear and rose, then wood, wood, wood with musk. Super clean and unobtrusive. I need to get this one.

Ginger & canned pears in floral syrup. But it stays fresh throughout. Brighter & zestier version of the EDP. Such a great scent!

I just love it. It's a shame it lasts only 2-3 hours. But it's a great creation. Perfect for summer.

Warm, rosy, slightly woody and clean. Very nice scent. It reminds me of Chloe Edt but a bit warmer :)

A fresh, fruity, uncomplicated companion for young and old. Pear-like and slightly rosy, a cozy scent that will always fit.

Nicer and lighter than the EdP, but it lacks something special. One-dimensional pear. I like pear, but I prefer "English Pear & Freesia."

Not really my "cup of tea" (low H&S; very citrusy) but a gift from a wonderful person & thus special :)

Great, herbal start. Then it develops green-fruity, fresh, clean. Not as sweet and patchouli-heavy as the EDP. Sillage and longevity unfortunately below average.

For me, it has absolute signature potential.
I get approached about this one more than any other.
An elegant "go-to" scent.

At first, pure pear, but unfortunately it turns increasingly artificial, what a shame..
