Nice all around fragrance.

Jimmy Choo Urban Hero, to me this is a cross between Invictus and Starwalker Extreme, it starts out similar to Invictus but a little more spicy as it goes through the mids it is a little sweeter. As it dries down you get more wood/leather. I’m sure the ambergris is probably ambroxin but that gives it some stay power. It’s not a beast, but for an edp it is respectable. I like it and it would work in most weather conditions and is inoffensive and could work in small or large groups. It also would work on a date. Blind buy? Yes if you would like a woodier version of Invictus. Or you like starwalker extreme. I really don’t see any hate here it is a decent release. The bottle and packaging is awesome and as usual the Jimmy Choo atomizer is one of the best in the industry.

Urban Hero is a pleasantly wearable, modern everyday fragrance - lightly spicy, fresh, and with a distinctly synthetic note, as is common with many mainstream scents. It comes across as well-groomed and unobtrusive, fitting well in the office and for daily wear, but unfortunately offers little uniqueness. Everything is agreeable, smooth, and easy to wear. Only the "Hero" factor is missing for me. A nice, clean scent without edges or corners, but also without any particular signature.

A Hero Without Personality

As in many films unfortunately, our protagonist/hero here lacks personality and character. He could be a fabric softener. Or a soap. Or the room scent of a fashion store.

The name "Urban Hero" takes on an ironic twist. As if it were the foreign term for a slick pretender.

Urban Hero doesn't smell bad; I've even received compliments for it. But if there were an opposite to a signature scent, it would be Urban Hero. If you want your perfume to not draw attention to yourself, but just smell pleasant, and you don't shy away from shameless synthetic notes, you can certainly spray it on.

However, I am glad that I only purchased 30ml back then. The main reason for my purchase was probably that my sensitive nose didn't have much trouble with Urban Hero due to its flat profile. At that time, I rarely wore perfume and only in a subtle way; any perfume with character would have been an unwanted statement. And Urban Hero simply lacks character.

A hero that is a bit weak on the chest

I made a purchase at the Duty Free at the airport after my better half gave the green light. Initially slightly lemony-fresh with a hint of pepper, after a short time, subtly dosed woods, vetiver, and a touch of leather come to the forefront. It smells very pleasant and you can wear the fragrance both at work and in your leisure time without drawing unpleasant attention. However, for an EdP, the longevity is quite poor; after about 3 hours, it is only perceptible up close. Overall, not a bad scent, but also not a standout.
