Jimmy Choo Man Intense vs Jimmy Choo Man
Bad news. This fragrance is not an infinitely better work than the traditional one. But when the traditional is a big nothing, anything that exists is "better than nothing". The performance of this version, even being superior to the EDT, disappoints precisely because it is an EDP. This version does carry a memory of the predecessor but it is by far another fragrance.
It opens more fruity and sweeter than the traditional one. A toasted pineapple with tonka bean. Pink pepper is also more expressive, making the combination fruit + pink pepper + tonka bean + patchouli = many other fragrances.
Due to the sweet and smoky pineapple perfumes like Animale For Men and PR 1 Million are easily associated with memory. The body is lightly peppered and a masculine geranium floral. But make no mistake! Nobody will turn to you if you are using JC Man Intense and ask you if you are using, for example, PR 1 Million. The base is still generic with the old and well-known notes of 90% of male fragrances (I have two Zara fragrances that remind me of that - Mexico Soul and Night Pour Homme III)
