Photorealistic jasmine tea
I’ve been on the hunt for ages for an actual photorealistic jasmine tea scent, and have been continually disappointed by synthetic lemon hand soap-esque fragrances. I was sent this in a scent swap with a fellow perfume creator, and was blown away instantly.

I was aware this perfume existed, but just had never tried it out because I didn’t expect much from it. God I was wrong! This smells exactly like you’re stood in the Austrian alps amongst wildflowers, sipping on a cup of fresh, steamy jasmine green tea with a dollop of honey. It’s GORGE.

The floral final boss
This was both exactly and nothing like I expected it to be.

At first spray, it's rich and heady florals, a subtle soapy-freshness, and a tinge of greenness. The tulip and thistle were apparent right away, evoking images of a springtime meadow. The sun is shining, there's a slight breeze that makes the flowers dance and their pollen fills the air.

This fragrance is also a bit familiar and nostalgic to me. It reminded me of my grandmother's strategically placed bowls of potpourri. It also reminded me of my other grandmother's dusty candles that remained unlit because they were purely decorative.

After the first hour, the jasmine starts to emerge, bringing out that sharp white floral scent that I am not partial to. Thankfully, the jasmine note only stuck out for a couple of hours because, by hour four, we were back to the start with the nondescript, lush florals. The frankincense is somewhat present throughout—I feel like that's where the scent's somewhat resinous "pollinated" quality comes from—but it becomes more apparent sometime around the sixth hour.

I didn't pick up on the mountain air or pink pepper notes at all and the honey was almost non-existent to me, though I feel that there was an ever-so-slight sweetness throughout. The sillage on this was moderate to strong and the longevity was long, lasting on my skin for at least ten hours.

Overall, this was a very pleasant fragrance to experience. I don't enjoy distinct jasmine notes, so this wasn't entirely enchanting, but it is a wonderfully refreshing springtime scent nonetheless.

kinky lepidopteran weirdness (a philosophy)
Imaginary Authors Fox in the Flowerbed is all fluttering spring petals, light feathery wings on a playful breeze, and unsettlingly intimate musks. Even the honeyed jasmine, usually so heavy, heralding summer's muggy fug, feels like a gossamer dream on a cool, April evening. In a philosophical sense, it makes me think of that poet from antiquity musing on whether he is a butterfly dreaming he is a man, or a man dreaming he is a butterfly. In a more carnal sense, however, it is a perfume that conjures the beautifully tender, kinky lepidopteran weirdness of The Duke of Burgundy's bizarre love story. I know a fragrance inspired by the film already exists, but somehow Fox in the Flowerbed does a more proper and true job of it.

fluffy florals and sweet honey
I don’t particularly love extremely floral scents so this wasn’t a love for me but I did really like it! This opens with a crisp winter air and fresh florals. You get sweet jasmines and tulips with an earthy, ambery note from the frankincense. Then comes the honey and it’s sweet, but light. The peppercorn adds a tiny hint of fresh spice too. This scent is light, its airy, and white floral forward. This feels like running through fields of snow covered flowers in the winter time.

why does indolic jasmine can smell like rancid old piss waft
First minutes on skin I get straight up urinal, then the rancid old piss waft disappear actually quite quickly and I have straight up dainty white flower.
I’m not sure I’m convinced, the white flower are a bit on the old school side leaning dangerously towards toilet freshener, I will try to wear it more even though with the piss opening.

Very nice and floral scent, not overly sweet so it´s unisex too. Reminds me of a Frederic Malle, I think En Passant. Very beautiful scent!

Fox in a flowerbed is, in my opinion, the perfect reproduction of the smell of a jasmine scented soap. Delightful!

A heart of tulip, engulfed in a strong floral (jasmin) that reminds me of a "mountain-fresh" type detergent scent, but not in a bad way :D

Slightly musky opening dries down to a clean, floral, airy scent. Leans feminine, but smells great on anyone. Great for spring
