A Sweet Synthetic from the Drugstore
I was completely unaware that the sportswear manufacturer Kappa also offers perfumes. When I was looking for an everyday cheapie in the forum, I was pointed to this fragrance.
I then discovered it in a drugstore. Due to the lack of a tester and the low price (under €15), I spontaneously took it home with me.
The packaging is quite nice for the price range; the bottle is black and gold with a textile band that wraps vertically around the bottle. I've experienced much worse in this price category.
So, I thought to myself, let's test it for the first time, wow, intense sillage. However, it only lasted overwhelmingly strong for a minute, after which it became moderate. At first, my girlfriend said to me, oh, you smell like my dad. She was referring to a rather spicy opening that reminds one of classic men's fragrances, like aftershave but without the freshness. Quite quickly, a vanilla sweet note joins in. Mint, pink pepper, lavender, and vanilla, I can take as fragrance notes and can also sense them. The rest of the listed notes disappear under an omnipresent veil of synthetics, which is not bothersome and is to be expected. However, this very synthetic quality makes it difficult to define the more precise notes.
The sweetness remains ever-present, while the initial spiciness gradually fades away.
The fragrance radiates acceptably for an hour and then gradually becomes weaker.
On my skin, it lasts about 5-6 hours.
Conclusion:
For the price, it's by no means a bad fragrance; I see it more suited for younger people, e.g., in school. Due to the sweetness, you might even receive a compliment or two. Therefore, it’s quite suitable for gifting to the right people. I will also reach for this perfume from time to time when nothing special is going on.
