Masterpiece Scent But….

STH Extreme has the scent of a masterpiece but the performance of a piece of crap.

I own both the original STH with the black cap and STH Extreme. Both have extremely poor performance issues.

STH Extreme turns into a skin scent within two hours and then completely vanishes.

Talk about gut wrenching…and to add insult to injury, it’s discontinued so over-spraying is completely out the question.

Maybe I’m wearing it during the wrong seasons, but I can’t help that because where I live, it’s usually hot eight months out of twelve.

If you love boozy woody fragrances that will ghost you after a couple hours, I would recommend STH Extreme. Lol

My Number One!

It just clicked with me. This is my favorite niche perfume of all time. Final answer. If you have smelt the original STH, it still retains that DNA and amps up the booziness (rum note) and tad bit of sweetness (vanilla). Unfortunately, this has been discontinued but there are some rumors that Kilian may re-release this.

Straight to the hell

I discovered this perfume in Printemps Boulevard Haussmann Paris today.

I knew I was going to go for a powerful masculine scent. but this one is really too powerful sickening heady intoxicating.

all you can smell is alcohol, rum and maybe a little vanilla, I really find it sickening. and on top of that it costs 200€? it's actually a joke.surrated .

I advise you not to make a blind purchase with this reference

Really Addictive Rum Scent

This is one of my favorite evening scents. Everytime i spray it i enjoy the scent so much. It's mysterious and a pefect composition of notes. Not to much vanilla. It's in balance with the dried fruits, the cedar wood and the rum. It is stronger than the original STH but very similar to each other. In particular the rum and vanilla is a little amped up. Maybe my next bottle will be the original again. Because it's in the base the same scent and much easier to get at a much lower price. But i treasure the extreme version as long as i can :)

Beautiful Melancholy you are mine forever

Straight to Heaven is my fragrance of the year 2020, and to draw something positive from this absolutely modest year, I want to honor this little masterpiece by Kilian with this comment.

"At the end of these lonely, liquor-soaked long nights, not much remains.
Mostly just memories in the form of melancholic love texts. Love? Annoying.
Now that the joys are gone, only the affection for silent scratching on vinyl remains, my heart tightens, give me the damn Orfiril.
After the chaos somewhere between alcohol and tobacco smoke,
we are still awake, yet outside the lights go out.
Everything dark, so infinitely quiet.
We alone stay awake, in this sleeping world.
When I close my eyes, I smell warm skin, the rum,
hear your breath and think of the patter of rain on the tarp back then in the tent.
2 souls, together, yet lonely. Distorted by society,
On the run from ourselves and what we have ultimately become,
already in childhood: problem child.
Depressions are strange, it's as if no one notices the lack of air,
the pressure on the chest comes back again and again, I think of the puddles on the kitchen table and your vanilla-scented candles. The freezer full of frozen fruit gnomes.
And now......reading by candlelight.
Silence in my room and the next room, I pretend I don’t miss you,
I turn the page, the pages rustle and outside the rain gets worse."

Straight to Heaven Extreme is not a complex scent, not demanding, not.....extravagant.
At least not in my nose. Rum + vanilla very prominent and strong, behind it almost barely perceptible patchouli, nutmeg, and a bit of wood.
Despite everything, the scent fascinates me so incredibly, the ingredients harmonize perfectly and shine. It is boozy, clear, but somehow there is more.
As one can gather from my little text, I associate this rum aroma with an extremely beautiful time. Chaotic, loud, young, and foolish. But truly happy.
When I wear Straight to Heaven, I become melancholic, yes almost on the brink of depression when reflecting on what has been lost. Beautiful pain.
The scent does something to me. And yet I never really feel uncomfortable. Soft warm melancholy in the promising black bottle.
Gentle vanilla pods in sweet rum, this connection, this alcoholic must be liked, but if you do, you get a lot for your money here.

Bottle: As always high quality and a smooth 10
Sillage: Not room-filling, but still radiates well, especially in the first 2-3 hours
Scent: Perfect gentle rum, it really can’t get better
Longevity: Lasts significantly better than the Straight to Heaven White Crystal

For all fragrance alcoholics, bar-goers, drunks, Charles Bukowski mixes, decent gentlemen, and perhaps also for the average Joe with a flask in his pocket, this is definitely the ultimate.
