Glamorous, seductive citrus vanilla

I have found so beautiful perfumes with citrusy touch lately. That note isn’t easy for me but when it’s blended seamlessly with other notes it’s absolutely charming.

I’m totally in love with Woman in Gold. Creamy composition with a captivating combination of vanilla and bergamot, refined rose and deepening Tonka and patchouli create a special and unique scent.

It feels like a fragrance from decades past updated for the modern era. It has a glowing glamour, a stylish, sensual and seductive character, and yet it is extremely versatile. The scent is powdery, fluffy, a bit hazy, but still bright. The patchouli doesn’t make it dark in any way. This is not a rose perfume in the way that you can smell clearly it’s petals. The most prominent notes are Bergamot and Vanilla.

I’m totally hooked on this. Woman in Gold is great for parties with an evening dress, but I can’t resist wearing it after a shower in the evening. It brings a touch of luxury to an ordinary day. Longevity is excellent and it leaves a seductive scent trail behind you. The scent is office safe and it’s suitable to wear year around.

Who is this woman in gold who attracts all the attention?

I was so unprepared.

What a beautiful vanilla.
Incredible. Along with bergamot and rose.
It immediately transports me to another setting.
Chandeliers, evening, gala, expensive clothing, expensive guests, you know.
When the air smells of luxury and is so good that you don’t want to leave.
Then calm sets in, who walks in?
It must be this woman in gold.
Golden earrings, long white dress, subtle makeup.
She smells of vanilla, bergamot, rose.
Oh how elegant.
She just stands there and captivates everyone around her.
How does she do it?

When I smell this fragrance, I have to think of moments I haven’t experienced but would love to.

I already liked Kilian before.
But now I’m sitting here and can’t stop smelling my arm.

How soft can vanilla be?
How pleasant the composition?
I am completely enchanted.

Burnt Caramel with Flowers

It is a wonderful scent that I didn't understand right away. At first, I thought it was too mature, but after further testing, I now find it age-neutral.
I associate the vanilla note in many fragrances with simplicity. I cannot describe this scent as typical and simple, even though I can't find anything incredibly special about it. Just a harmonious, full, and feminine composition. The perfume smells expensive, and with it, you really feel like a woman in gold. I smell burnt caramel, unobtrusive and warm. It is not monotonous, and the light floral notes are really very pleasant.
Longevity and sillage are very good.

A dream scent if you like patchouli..

I am very picky when it comes to perfume, and out of about 100 samples, maybe 5 make it to a second testing phase..

Woman in Gold was initially a home run. Such a beautiful, soft, and super elegant scent. You probably know the feeling: you test a fragrance for the first time and you almost freak out with excitement.. I was just too quick with my enthusiasm. This review is an addition, or let’s say I had to revise it..

Woman in Gold smells just as you would imagine the scent. A beautiful woman in a flowing white dress. She wears gold jewelry, and her long hair gives off an enchanting scent trail of a fragrance that smells so soft and summery that everyone talks about it.. Yes, I thought again.. My discovery.. Not so fast.. at some point, a very prominent patchouli note appeared, which became more and more present.. Uff.. In the first days of testing, this note bothered me less, but after a week of testing, I noticed that the fragrance feels very overwhelming because of the patchouli..

The scent starts with rose and a good dose of vanilla. Sweet but pleasantly sweet. It smells like a pink scented rose. If you imagine a pink rose sprinkled with vanilla powder, then you know roughly where the scent journey is headed. Now here comes my problem: the patchouli adds something very earthy, very green, and almost musty, which ruins the fragrance for me.. Unfortunately..

I have now noticed that the longevity and sillage are good..

I was afraid of the described patchouli.
I smell wonderful things but little patch.

The fragrance starts with a very delicate, powdery rose. Very slightly vanillic, a bit caramel-like, elegant, light. What I particularly appreciate:
Without the alcohol punch at the beginning that many fragrances bring with them.

The scent settles pleasantly on the skin and stays there for the next 5 hours.

Unfortunately, the rated longevity does not seem to set in for me. I have to reapply after 5 hours.

But still, it is heavenly and excellently wearable, always and at any time of day. Whether in the office or going out. Always appropriate. Never too loud.

.

The price is horrendous (without a doubt far too high). With percentage promotions, it becomes a bit more bearable. It’s worth waiting.
