Freshly washed sweater in a sea of flowers

Yesterday I was in Müller and lost myself a little in the Korres fragrances, in a good way! I really like subtle, close-to-the-skin fragrances and find the brand's philosophy very appealing. There was very little that I didn't like and I fell in love with Black Sugar straight away. Only Cashmere Kumquat was no longer available in a test bottle, so I was kind enough to take a small sample with me and tested it on my skin the next morning, freshly showered and very daring.

I felt as if I had applied silky body lotion on a sunny terrace with a view of blossoming orange trees in the distance. This fresh feeling then got warmer and warmer, I had probably put on the cashmere sweater unnoticed and soaked it with a touch of vanilla almond milk.

I was pleasantly surprised by the longevity of this EdT. It stayed with me until late afternoon, when it was much more restrained but still very pleasantly perceptible.

A few weeks ago, I tested a bottle of Valaya and have now smelled the two side by side. Even though they are not twins, they could be sisters. However, Valaya is a little older, no longer quite as playful and has shed the floral-citrus note, but both still have their very own fresh creaminess..

Back to Cashmere Kumquat: The price/performance ratio is incredible, the Korres bottles are between 18 and 50 euros for 50 ml, depending on the supplier. I also really like the look of the bottles. The colorful but at the same time not boring modern-minimalist aesthetic definitely appeals to me.
