I like it more than the eau de toilette

Having already reviewed the Teatro alla Scala Eau de Toilette today, here is my opinion on the Teatro alla Scala Eau de Parfum. In the end, I was a little happier with this one. In addition, the longevity of 10 hours + X (I had to take a shower and my miniature was unfortunately already empty) is great and much better. The sillage was also more effervescent. You could also tell from the color that everything here was much more extracted and oily than the eau de toilette.

Thanks to bergamot, the top note starts off quite citrusy with a certain fruit acidity. Coriander provides a soapy note and aldehydes create a hint of bitter almonds. In addition to the florality and chypre aroma, the heart note then offers a good amount of spice. Cloves create a Christmassy flair. The base almost makes me think of Christmas, as incense also joins in. There is also musk, civet, patchouli, vetiver and earthy oakmoss in the background.

Overall, however, the fragrance DNA of Teatro alle Scala is a little too heavy for me. I don't think the scent is really contemporary any more. But maybe this is just my purely subjective olfactory impression.
