John McClane, we need you
The Bruce Willis fragrance really goes in the direction of TdE. It is spicy, earthy, and stands out. Unfortunately, the presence of the superhero doesn't last very long. After about 2-3 hours, the action hero is gone again. You also rarely find it. I haven't seen it in a perfume shop or drugstore yet. I once got a sample and must say, for anyone who likes wood and spice, this fragrance is an alternative to the expensive niche perfumes.

Bruce wants it - I don't!
So far, I actually had a pretty high opinion of Bruce Willis. I found him to be very convincing since his beginnings in the series "The Model and the Detective" as well as in groundbreaking films like the "Die Hard" series, "Pulp Fiction", "The Fifth Element", "The Jackal", "The Sixth Sense", or "Sin City", to name just a few of the most impactful ones for me.

Even the commercial for a German brewer alongside Rudi Assauer can still be overlooked. Well, if he had marketed himself for a "Kölsch", his reputation would probably have been more than tarnished.

And actually, he shouldn't have to worry about his finances. After all, he definitely ranks among the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. But what could possibly be the motivation to team up with the guys from LR to launch a fragrance with his own name? After all, he wouldn't buy a car from Lada or release a "Bruce-Willis-Special Edition" under that brand, would he?

What's frustrating is that this fragrance is simply a cheeky Terre d'Hermes clone without any unique note - and that in a relatively typical LR manner with thoroughly synthetic ingredients. One shouldn't expect more at that price.
Mr. Willis has simply approved something that lacks originality. Frustrating!!!

But Bruce Willis can make up a lot of ground with me again. In his next big role, I would love to see him as an angry superstar who always demands the highest quality as a standard, beating up all the managers from the fragrance department of an Ahlener Health & Beauty company (one with the other, if you like), after he has read his contract thoroughly and found out how they literally led him by the nose. Afterwards, he spectacularly blows up all the laboratories of that company so that they can never produce any more EdTs, EdPs, or perfumes to annoy the (surrounding) world. Subsequently, the direct sales managers must swear to never start a multi-level marketing company again in the future.

I actually don't care whether this film is an elaborate Hollywood production or a documentary.

Terre d'Hermès to Tear Your Hair Out - or How Bald Canvas Enthusiasts Have No Scent and Can Afford the Original
So, let's continue with the LR series:
today I actually wanted to focus on the mysterious Agent XY, but he isn't listed here at all, so I mutilated my right forearm for nothing... :-/

So let's move on to the evaluable ones, namely Bruce Willis:
What is Bruce Willis? A standalone fragrance, individually created for the Hollywood star?! No way, I hope none of you thought that, right?!
So what is it then? Take a look at the pyramid! - that's right: another Terre d'Hermès copy. 100 points.
I should mention that I only have the body spray available, but it's intense enough...
The BW is a typical LR clone: it starts off somewhat decently and close to the original, only to reveal its "high-quality" ingredients in the course of the scent and drift further away from the original, literally falling apart...

Maybe a few general words about my ratings in this series: since the stuff costs practically nothing and could be quite decent for many laypeople, I won't totally trash it in terms of points (an exception is coming), but I would be crazy to wear it publicly - not even for mowing the lawn, for my grandpa, myself, the neighbors, and the lawn's sake...
Basically, all of them are pretty cheap synthetic stuff, which can give you headaches, dizziness, irritated eyes, etc., if you dose it properly for testing (but more on this in my upcoming Boris Becker review, which will cover these topics in more detail)
The BW is relatively annoying and thus only gets 40% (by the way, I quite like the original, but nobody needs the bad copy), while you could probably still make use of the Jungle or Terminator (as fragrances, they aren't that bad, although far from high-quality)...

Die Hard Bruce Willis, with this stuff, you might just lose your hair...

Cheaply made TdH clone without its own character, typical of LR with synthetic ingredients. It's a shame BW lent his name to this.

Not bad, but not great either.
It's okay for perfume beginners or people who don't have much experience with it.
Better than smelling bad :D

At first, it's a great scent, but it ends up being quite forgettable. The similarity to TDH doesn't help either. Unfortunately, it's a fall from Nakatomi Plaza.

The action hero comes across as spicy and woody. Unfortunately, the longevity isn't great.

Synthetic terre d'Hermes dupe. Already emptied 2 bottles and it's not as bad as rated here.

Very synthetic smoky wood. The synthetic notes make it feel very cheap. Batches from 2013 are noticeably worse in longevity.
