Jungle Man from 1994
Now I also know from whom JPG Le Male, which was released a year later, copied its scent.
Clear genes can be found here.
I still have Jungle Man today, actually rediscovered it, and Le Male, the two definitely have very similar genes; anyone who claims otherwise has no idea.

Tarzan as a Le Mâle-Wearer without Cojones
Part 2 of the explorations in the LR universe:
You just have to browse a bit on YouTube and then you realize how the LR empire operates; there are numerous videos about how to attend events for the representatives (= family), and it comes across as if you've fallen into the clutches of a cult.
After my not-so-favorable remarks about the direct sales concept regarding fragrance number two: Jungle
What is it? Short version: Le Mâle for poor softies; heavily diluted (it shouldn't hurt anyone), with a bit more peppermint in the top notes, lacking that brutal presence and longevity, hence well-suited for the target audience (see review No. 1). I have not experienced the washing obligation of Boris Becker again; the environment should be able to endure him... ;-)
You can think what you want about the original (I constantly make fun of it, but I will certainly judge it fairly here someday; what annoys me the most is WHO wears it WHEN and WHERE; as a scent in itself and in certain situations, I actually consider it good), this here is the softie version of Terrible (which is already half-castrated)...

Tarzan would certainly not be noticed by Jane in real jungle life with this - perhaps Cheeta has a nose good enough for this - in the urban jungle, one should wear the original, as a wannabe maybe stick to the LR clone ;-)

Jungle Test
As I have learned from well-informed circles, the disgust factor is set to be further increased in the next season of the RTL Jungle Camp, with candidates being sprayed with LR fragrances during the jungle tests.
One tough test will even consist of a selected candidate having to sniff the Bobbele scent from LR for ten seconds without fainting or throwing up.
However, Dr. Bob is already warning about long-term damage and does not want to take responsibility for this type of disgust test. After all, he, like all his doctor colleagues, has no effective antidote at hand.

He considers the sniffing of Jungle Man by LR to be more acceptable and fair.
While they tried to recreate Le Mâle by J. P. Gaultier, it turned out so poorly that it almost has its own identity and could easily pass as a flanker to Le Mâle Sport Summer Essenza Extréme Edition. After all, it has a few fresher notes than the original, which manage to assert themselves just against (the fortunately quick end) and makes a relatively decent impression for an LR product. But here the praise ends, otherwise one might think this comment is sponsored by LR.
But one thing is clear: Jungle Man is no star - and therefore, unlike many other LR flops, it can be safely discarded.

I am surprised...(EDIT: 18.08.2024)
...how poorly Jungle Man is received. Personally, I wore this fragrance often during my youth and received compliments for it quite frequently. My sister loved this scent so much that her husband had to wear it. Last year, I bought it again. The top notes of mint and bergamot are very pronounced. I find that they remain quite prominent even after hours, alongside the vanilla in the base. The longevity is rated poorly here, but in my case, the perfume was still noticeably present the next day. I still think it's really good, although not outstanding.

EDIT 18.08.2024: I have now come across a manufacturer sample of unknown age. To my surprise, the longevity on my skin lasted almost 24 hours, so I have adjusted my rating upwards. This time, I found the top notes not as successful, but the rest was just as lovely as before. Additionally, there is a noticeable similarity to "Le Mâle (Eau de Toilette) | Jean Paul Gaultier."

green wisps from the jungle
That sounds quite ominous, doesn’t it? And it’s true.
Jungle Man is less of a perfume and more of a challenge.
A harsh chemical note makes it clear from the start what’s going on! If an Arab potentate were to spray this on his beloved, albeit ungrateful, people, he would have the UN on his back in no time (or NATO, depending on whether there’s oil...). After what feels like an eternity, a diffuse sweet floral scent remains, but only if one couldn’t resist the urge to wash it off. Sometimes, no scent is really the better alternative.
At least now I know what kind of perfume I need if I want to smell like cheap plastic toys.

No way, Jungle Man is far away from me.

The scent of my father. Oriental sweet and a bit spicy. Unfortunately, the old batches have changed - the old ones were better.

Here, LR tried to recreate Le Mâle. It's a bit fresher, but also much more chemical than the original.

It's really not good but also not absolutely terrible. Like an Adidas deodorant with a Le Male vibe.

Did it really come out in 1994? Le Male in 1995? Wow, who copied whom? Smelled it on a girl when I was 16 and boom ;-)

Jungle Man was my signature scent during school and university and opened the door to the world of perfumes for me. Very synthetic! H/S for me 7.

At first, it's an amazing scent. But after a while, it reminds me of laundry hanging to dry in the basement. Sorry.

I already knew how it would smell with "Mint, Tonka Bean, Vanilla"! :O

The opening is sweet-spicy fresh, in the end only vanilla battles tonka - sweet, sweeter, Jungle Man. Similar to Le Male, but spicier.

Yes, it has a certain similarity to Le Male, but it definitely smells different! In my opinion, it's a bit harsher, more artificial. Medium attributes.
