Heavenly Vetiver
A brief cologne-like prelude, and the sun is already rising - a zesty, fruity, and spicy orange. Quickly, a few cumulus clouds gather in the sky, all spicy, some herbal-woody like lavender and cedar, others tart like apple cider. After a while, the misty formations dissolve into veil-like clouds of sandalwood-dusted lavender. The veil of mist soon clears, revealing a fine bright vetiver. After half an hour, the entire sky glows with a vetiver infused with patchouli. This heavenly radiance lasts for two to three hours, then the brightness begins to fade.

For me, the scent from Piver has one of the most beautiful vetiver notes I have ever smelled, and the composition is as graceful as it is pleasant: orange, lavender, and sandalwood wonderfully set the stage for the harmonious duo of vetiver and patchouli. Subtle, yet with a certain something, it is indeed an all-rounder for vetiver lovers. The sillage and longevity are somewhat below average, but reapplying doesn’t break the bank here.

Fougere-tinged Spicy Oriental Vetiver Scent....
....Once again, a find from the TK-MAXX store, not seen anywhere else and affordable (19.99 EUR per 100 ml). I first read on "Parfumo that L.T.Piver is an established, traditional fragrance house. The "Vetiver" from this manufacturer is distinctly different from the other vetiver scents I own. Every vetiver is different. But this one is "different" different. On one hand, it reminds me of fougere, while on the other hand, the nutmeg gives it a peculiar spicy-oriental touch, which is "only" supported by the earthy vetiver. Patchouli peeks out vaguely, but without it, the scent would be incomplete and something would be missing. I don't quite understand the scent yet, but after further "sprayings," I might be able to share more. In any case, it's a pleasantly interesting autumn fragrance.

An excitingly different vetiver, as it doesn't emphasize the green earthy-aromatic components, but rather spice and fruit.

Unperfumed man in the bathroom: remnants of shaving foam, a bit of soap. Masculine scent without frills. I like it.

After overcoming the repellent top note, I enter a dark green, mystical enchanted forest - (do I smell incense?) dreamy.

Vetiver, a dry musk spice and a zesty, pleasantly artificial fruit note that I don't perceive as apple. Appealing mix.

Strongly spiced vetiver - more of a spice than a vetiver scent. Masculine, down-to-earth, and crafted in an '80s style, but unfortunately not H+S.

Vetiver? Where? In my nose, an unpleasant sweet-sour apple with a cushioning nutmeg note in the base. Unfortunately, not a recommendation for vetiver fans!

Vibrant citrus vetiver, a hint of apple in the top notes, barbershop vibe. For men aged 35 and up, preferably in a suit.

Fresh early autumn morning. Wearable even on cloudy summer days. A bit fruity, a bit woody, spicy, fougère, good.
