Uncomplicated soft veil
Another pretty and wearable summer perfume from this line. Though clearly I prefer Sole di Capri over this one, I find the blend of coconut and flowers is balanced so that this one isn't a thick summer coconut oil lotion scent but a soft uncomplicated beach safe cologne veil. With a tempting price tag too. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

Salivating coconut
World Cup lovers rejoice - Lancaster offers the right summer scent to accompany the 2014 football games in Brazil. The perfumer thought he/she could get away with just another fruit-based combo featuring coconut, oranges and a bit of musk. Very innovative, don't you agree? Well, for those who love coconut, the effect could be quite salivating. Maybe you'll wish you could drink this. I personally wish that when perfumers are given their boring briefs, they would create something more audacious - even if it's against the brief.

SCHICKERIA
I randomly received a sample of Sol da Bahia (thank you so much again!!) and since it hasn't been commented on much here, but would surely be a summer option for many,
I want to leave a few lines about it here.
When I first sprayed it on my arm in the car, my first
instinct, or gut feeling - and that's usually the best - was chic....Schickeria.
At first, I didn't know where the exoticism of "Bahia" was supposed to be hidden,
I perceived the scent as a summery office fragrance for very fashion-conscious
women....as for age, I’m tolerant, I’d say casually up to young-at-heart 60 years.
As I said, just my impression.
Then came the subtle coconut and I also think I smelled something melon-like,
even though it’s not listed. I don’t find the scent too sweet for teenagers, no, it has the summery elegance of a well-groomed front office secretary or something.
The sillage is summery close, properly applied, which you can do well at this price
and probably should, I would smell the secretary if I stood in front of her. ;) But it could also be the lady from the registration office or whoever!

However, for me personally, as a summer scent with coconut, it’s not cheeky-happy enough!
Since I have only recently come to appreciate coconut in perfumes, thanks to my current favorite "Chatoyant," which doesn’t list coconut (?), but I perceive it (?), I at least have an idea of what a hint of coconut can do:
Spice, cheekiness, and good mood. I had used up that sample!
However, since Sol da Bahia only costs a third of what I would have to pay for, e.g., Chatoyant, and can also be applied a bit splashily, I forgive it.
I can't imagine that this scent would clash anywhere; it's quite pleasant! The clean musk note-after about 15-20 minutes...unobtrusive.
You have to reapply, I probably wouldn't buy it, but I find it okay as a sample for on-the-go, even if I don't fit my just-drafted buyer profile. I give it 70% for the price-performance ratio, no more, as I personally miss a natural image, a natural note, or simply the cheekiness. But it’s definitely worth testing!

Not as fresh-fruity as expected, more elegant-floral. H+S well... Smells a bit like grandma to me.
