Idôle Lancôme 2019

I've owned Idôle for about two years now and initially found the fragrance just fine. A fruity opening with pear, followed by a beautiful, very bright, dewy musky rose. All in all, somehow a clean, fine fragrance for my nose. But now came what I hadn't expected: I was constantly reaching for it in the mornings for work. When I couldn't think about which fragrance was best to wear, it was always Idôle. Over and over again. In winter, it sometimes went unnoticed, as I preferred my vanilla-based fragrances. Now I've brought it out again and remember what I like about it. It smells somehow as bright as a bell, like a still slightly cool spring morning on which the sun is already asserting itself. Like dew on light pink roses, whose leaves appear fragile and innocent, almost transparent. Like freshly washed, airy bed linen waiting for me in the evening on vacation after an eventful day, exuding the scent of a very nice fabric softener. I fall in love with the fragrance again and again, even if it gets less attention at times. Sillage and longevity are bombastic. You can still smell it after 12 hours. Idôle | Lancôme" is soft, warm, fresh, fluffy, airy and clean and I think it is simply wonderful.
