One of the More Unique Fantasies

With Fantasy Intimate, definitely more citrus at face value than the original. It's much softer, too.

Intimate is more powdery, and quieter. I detected a tiny bit of baby wipes at first, but that's just how I receive violet (leaf) as a scent in general. It fades and isn't too strong for long. Quickly, it turns into a light, sweet and sour baby powder.

I can't speak on the longevity, as I typically wear this as a bedtime scent. It's vanished by morning, but is beautiful while it lasts.

Lemon turns to vanilla yummy

It a very nice fragnance. First is fresh and you can smell a lemon, then after 1hour vanilla takes over. I was a little consured about brown sugar but it goes great with vanilla. Fantasy Intimate is strog but not heavy. I prefer this one over the original Fantasy. Intimate still has some of that youthful vibe but its definitely more mature, name tells everything. Not one of my dream scents but because of it's funny price is definitely worth to buy if you fell you need a little change.

Sadly, was a powder bomb for me.

Based on reading online reviews of this perfume and my own experience, I feel like there is a bad batch floating around that only smells like baby powder. Perhaps it needs to macerate? Or maybe everyone's nose is just completely different!

I once purchased this based on the reviews that mention the vanilla and citrus notes. I LOVE vanilla perfumes. Once I purchased it from Amazon, I was dismayed to find that the only note I get is that baby powder/Coty Airspun smell. There was no vanilla or cupcake scent to be found in my bottle. If you look online at some of reviews, there are people who mention the same "powder bomb" experience. Some reviews ever mention the store tester smelling different from the bottle she purchased.

I might repurchase another day, though I can't be sure which experience I will get!

Trial and Error

This is one that I purchased in February 2022. So many people were hyping it saying it smelt soo good and was so compliment worthy and just the best. Not to my nose. To my nose, it opens up with a slightly sweet lemon and then the ozonic quality swoops in last minute and turns it bad. In my opinion, vanilla and ozonic notes should NEVER go together. It’s too much airiness and grounded qualities trying to mix. Not a good thing. I also remember that the notes have genet in there, which is cat privates from what I remember. Maybe that’s also what I pick up, hence why I am not too happy with this one. I tried to keep it for years and wear it every once in a while; safe to say I am not getting what everyone else is getting. While everybody gets a vanilla dream wonderland, I get ozonic vanilla lemon cake with a spritz of cat pee. No thank you!

A promising creamy lemon opening that disappears too fast and leaves behind a cloying synthetic stench

The only other Britney fragrance I have is Electric Fantasy and when I first tested Intimate Fantasy on paper, I was disappointed because it smelled exactly the same to me - the same cloud of sweet, unidentifiable artificial fruitiness. It’s quite different on skin, however.

I really wanted to like this, because it’s discontinued and hard to find outside of ebay, and a lot of people seem to think it’s one of the best of the Fantasy line. I’ve been looking for a bottle for ages and finally found one hidden away in an obscure corner of fragrancenet, so I pounced.

It opens promisingly with a delicious blast of sweet but also tart and creamy lemon that reminds me of some excellent full cream lemon yoghurts I used to get. Sadly, this opening disappears in a matter of seconds and after that, all I really smell is a nasty bitter violet leaf note with a hint of lemon and vanilla lingering in the background. It smells odd to me, kind of dusty and not really perfumey. Someone described it as smelling like baby wipes, and honestly that's pretty accurate.

It has a bizarre performance that I only get with synthetics: I can barely smell it, even when I stick my nose deep into my wrist, and yet hours later when I’ve stopped thinking about it, I find myself irritated by this sickly sweet yet somehow bitter powdery musk invading my nostrils. Even after scrubbing multiple times with soap, I couldn’t remove the smell, and eventually had to have a shower.
