Roses with paprika taste
Hello you insatiable ladies... insatiable for scents... :D
Once again I am here to describe a new women's fragrance. Today it's about the brand Les Parfums de Rosine, which by the way has nothing to do with raisins, but I guess you already knew that. On the other hand, if this fragrance here contains paprika notes, then it's quite possible that there are also rose fragrances with raisin notes, right?
Anyway, I am very curious about the paprika flavour, because I really like paprika. Well, except for the green ones, which taste rather bitter and are therefore more suitable for dishes like our Turkish Paprika-Dolma (you know, those peppers filled with rice and/or minced meat that you eat lukewarm, maybe with yoghurt on top).
And the smell of the paprika is also great, I think that's just as great as the smell of sliced cucumbers, tomato leaves... hmm... for the fact that we guys are known to eat few vegetables and like them, I have to admit that the smell of these foods, which can't replace meat in any case, but still smell very good :D
Therefore, as I said, I am curious about the scent, so let's see what it's like!
From the heart note on, the paprika note becomes a little weaker, but with the ginger a new fragrance is added, which also smells quite nice. The roses and pepper remain as they are, with pepper currently being the most intense fragrance.
Towards the base the pepper gets slightly weaker, then you can smell the pepper better again, which I find nice. The scent of roses itself is generally not very strong.
In the base you can still smell weak roses and some pepper. But now patchouli and woods are added. I can't immediately identify these woods as cedar, normally cedar is one of the simplest (because it's the most distinctive) wood notes for me, but here I even had the feeling that I smelled rather leathery notes. Maybe this is due to the combination of all the scents, but I can only smell cedar more clearly in the later base, and only very lightly and gently.
In general, the late base (by that I mean the fragrance after six or seven hours) is quite soft, almost creamy. As I said, you can smell a soft cedar and a little bit better the patchouli, although this one is also rather soft. Roses and paprika are almost completely gone now and what remains is an unidentifiable, but still nice, sweetish scent, which now becomes more and more unimportant.
The bottle! The bottle is a turquoise, slightly inflated container, on the front of which the brand's logo can be seen. The cap is black, cylindrical and grooved. All in all, the new Les Parfums de Rosine bottles have a modern and beautiful look, but I still miss the beautiful cords on the neck of the bottle as an appendage, as they were on the old bottles.
You can use it as an allrounder, but it is probably too weak for the freezing winter. As a discreet scent for going out, I think it will do well, as well as a scent for everyday use, such as at work, if you don't exaggerate with the dosage.
Otherwise, there is not much more to say about this fragrance, except that a little test might be worthwhile for some.
Well... all this talk about paprika makes you want paprika! Best on a pizza, with lots of salami on top, he he he :DD

The Sillage is above average, but I think without the pepper the scent would be much weaker. Anyway, you can smell it reasonably well if you are not too far away. So, I like the smell of this place. But as some people have already written, the fragrance itself is nothing really special, even if you should find a not too frequent scent here, the paprika scent. But I have to say that I would have wished the paprika to be more long-lasting and intense. But the scent is worth a look, especially for rose lovers, as it comes across quite nice, even if one should not smell so many roses. But as said before, one should not expect too much here anyway. So it's not a must-have, but a harmless but pleasant scent for women. You can use it as an allrounder, but it is probably too weak for the freezing winter.
