Sun-soaked Mediterranean Landscapes
The main accords of Green Euphoria are citrus, fruity, and musky. What really sets this perfume apart is its harmony of sweetness, juiciness, muskiness, and animalic nuances. I don’t know if I can say that this is the best genderless fruity perfume, but it is definitely an exceptional perfume that has no filters, prejudices, or gender discrimination. Among the Erba Pura inspired perfumes, this is the fruitiest I have smelled. A blend of fruit and jelly sweets with hints of musk and amber.
From the beginning, Green Euphoria fills the air with a blend of sweet and sour citrus, courtesy of the variety of typical southern Italian fruits such as lemon, orange and bergamot. However, the sour orange is the most prominent. I know there is a plethora of fragrances that open this way, but here is the blend with other ingredients that makes the difference. The opening is refreshing and you might think that this is just another fresh citrus fragrance that reminds you of sunny and carefree days. It has an explosive and exotic fruity bubblegum tropical vibe. Very sharp yet sweet citrus opening, which then leads to the fruit. Well, if "Erba Pura | XerJoff" announces your arrival, this one doesn’t. The aura of this one doesn’t fill the entire room. However, what surrounds you has a fruit cocktail and bubblegum vibe.
Captivating, but it needs time to settle, so you have to give it more time before judging it. Just wait a few minutes and let the boozy, spicy accord settle down, and the fruitiness will amaze you. The exotic fruit heart adds a playful, joyful dimension, almost transporting you to a lush tropical paradise. There’s a succulent mango that evokes a tropical, juicy sensation. Then, a diverse array of fruity intensities replace them, encompassing more than just mango. I smell a kind of fruit salad that seems to contain berries, apples, peaches, apricots, exotic fruits like passion fruit and pineapple. Just a hint: since it is impossible to extract the fragrance from the fruits, as with amber, gourmand, leather and other imaginary accords, perfumers have to recreate their smells using synthetic ingredients. Hard to pinpoint which fruit, but I smell a lot of berries and a mix with a very tropical fruity smell. I also smell a floral scent, which presumably comes from the white jasmine flowers.
In the drydown, it becomes more musky and powdery towards the end. The attenuation of the fruity and floral accords gives way to the musks and spices. I start to smell some saltiness from the ambroxan mixed with touches of vanilla and musk, which are placed in the foreground. The amber, musky and spicy nuances add depth and a sense of sweet creaminess, creating a warm, comforting and sensual sensation, like a soft hug.
Does it resemble "Erba Pura | XerJoff", Kirkè Extrait de Parfum or that kind of aroma? Yes, but it does so by keeping the ambroxan in check, which is used here in a lighter and less invasive way. Its composition reflects a celebration of nature’s abundance, with a focus on the lushness of ripe fruit and the warmth of amber and vanilla. The fragrance evokes the image of a colourful basket of fresh, juicy fruit, symbolizing the joy, vitality and carefree spirit of summer. The projection is not the best, but others will smell it. It also has a floral touch, which might give you a feminine vibe, but the male gender will appreciate this. With impressive longevity, it is versatile enough for both day and night and can be worn in various contexts without offending. This aroma can handle any season, but the freshness places me in the season of the warmer months, from Sprint to autumn. Don’t over-spray if you want to wear it to work. Also, it can be worn in winter, but I prefer something cosy. My final thought: Now that I have tested this modest but wonderful scent, I would like to pull the trigger with the original #erba.
I have written my feelings and emotions based on a bottle I have owned since March 2025.
