La Nuit de l'Homme meets Fahrenheit Absolute
Briefly, YSL La Nuit de l'Homme meets Fahrenheit Absolute. Unfortunately not resulting with synergistic effect, because the best features of both perfumes are hidden in this l'Intense. Lavender, cardamom and iris paired with sweet darker notes of tonka and vanilla, but this alcoholic sweetness lacks refinement. Seems this perfume's target groups are more mature 1 Million lovers. Le Parfum version in my opinion is more successful attempt to make La Nuit darker. L'Intense is nothing groundbreaking, and just an average release.

is good.
This perfume is a good example why I never listen to people's *opinions* on scents - or anything really. When it launched, it got no good rep and I don't even know why. When I first tested it - it became an instant certified classic to me. I can't explain how special this scent is. I ain't no expert on notes but I can pick up the iris strongly - I know that note from other iris fragrances I own, and overall it shares the "feelin of the OG La Nuit while being different in a very good way.
I can appreciate something that smells this damn good. If it's cooler and it's dark out,
often will reach this one. Even better when around a young lady.
And how come there are complaints about performance? It radiates on me, and I been told by people around.
This one is discontinued and I am sure cause I don't see it on the shelves anymore. So I rushed to grab a bottle, and I am damn glad I did.
You should pick one up while You can, You will thank Me later.

Grotesque Chemical Slop for Tweens
This is truly wretched. If you want to create a mental picture of how this smells, imagine the following: a gossipy, oversocialized teenage girl sits in the driver's seat of her father's car, waiting for her homosexual male friend to return with the artificial vanilla drinks they just ordered from Starbucks. She sits there, quietly and nonchalantly applying cheap plasticy makeup in the mirror when he bounds up to her window, frightening her in the process. She yelps and drops the compact on her thighs, splattering the ionone-laden powder all over the seat and center console. "Oh my god, I'm sooo sorry!" he says and leans in the window to brush her off, spilling the corn syrup sweetened drinks inside the car in the process. "My dad is going to f*c&#^g kill me, Ja'relle. We need to clean this up now!" They pop the trunk and discover a three pack of Lysol linen-scented disinfectant wipes and an unused cannister of Febreeze. They hastily scrub at the saccharine, powdery mess now permanently imbued in the carpets with a duo of America's most disgustingly and synthetically scented consumer cleaning products. "We need to get some of those little blue tree air fresheners to cover up the smell" she remarks. He agrees and they quickly head to the nearest gas station. With a blue "New Car Scent" tree freshly hung from the rear view mirror, they head home and park the car in the garage. In uncharacteristically quiet fashion, they slink away to their friend's house down the street, unnoticed. Four hours later, her father walks into the garage so that he can grab the cleaning products that he had purchased but forgotten to remove the night prior. He pops the trunk. Not there. But wait.. what's that? He lifts his nose into the air, catching the faintest aroma of the tragedies that unfolded on his upholstery mere hours ago. He squints and sniffs a few times more, realizing that the scent is coming from inside the car. He stands up, closes the trunk door, and heads to the driver's side door. He hesistates for a second or two, and then slowly opens the door. Immediately, his eyes and nostrils are greeted by the heinous chemical abortion wrecked upon his automobile in full, synthetic, gory detail. He closes the door, and then his eyes. "I'm going to f*c&#^g kill her" he mutters under his breath.

Strong Iris
I already own La Nuit de L' Homme le Parfum, which I like to wear because it's a cuddly fragrance, not too loud, but elegant.
The Intense, on the other hand, starts much harsher with the more dominant iris note, which irritated me a bit in the beginning, but is now really great.
After about 1 1/2 hours the iris becomes weaker, but remains pleasantly intact. The fragrance then becomes sweeter and warmer.
The two fragrances, le Parfum and Intense, do not differ too much, but the Intense has more power in the beginning and is sweeter in the later course than le Parfum, which is more spicy.
The shelf life is about 7-8 hours on the skin.
It lasts significantly longer at the clothing Who is an Iris fan, may suffer this smell surely.
Definitely recommended.
8 of 10 points.

La Nuit de L'Homme L'Intense - 2015 - 2021. A loving obituary.
You were beautiful. You are beautiful. You always will be.

La Nuit de L'Homme with glowing iris at its heart. Started as a sidekick, you were still not fresh and spicy enough for us to follow in vintage La Nuit de L'Homme's footsteps.

But for me, at least, all that was about to change:
I don't know about you with this, but I have come to love this "sidekick", this flanker over the years.

The scent starts right after spraying on with a really strong iris fire blast, with a glowing, fluffy sweet core. But yet also a little Herb, oriental-spicy, with that certain mystical La Nuit flair.
It has unlike the normal La Nuit but a fruitier, orange, syrupy base. But high quality, and offset with the prominent iris that runs throughout, creating a crossover with Dior Homme and other iris fragrances.
Actually, with Dior Homme perfume, only weaker. And a little softer, less overpowering. It has but thereby this beautiful "3D depth" I love at Dior Homme & Co so much.
Vanilla and tonka bean also flatter around, which is nice. And it still gets a little 'edge' from the sage, if only an idea. The EdT is much spicier here.... I find it also a quite floral, sometimes shimmers me Gaultiers "Fleur du mal" something through.
Something I could not have wished for more beautiful actually, as a Dior Homme, Valentino Uomo or Prada L'Homme fan of the first hour. B)

It's as if La Nuit had a fluffy winter coat on, so one with fluffy hood. However, you can also wear it well in the spring or on a summer evening. Only in really hot weather, any fresher YSL product is more suitable, for example LNDL Eau Électrique, or the great L'Homme Le Parfum. (-> Both Top!!)

Excuses by the way the short form (LNDL), but the naming is now really not the shortest...
"Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme L'Intense Eau de Parfum" ... those in the creative department at YSL must be having quite a time. :D

What I would like to take from my old review is, we La Nuit de L'Homme die-hard fans would have honestly just wanted the vintage version of LNDL back, instead of all the flankers... but I have to admit that even those get a bit bogged down over time, and you want to wear something else then.

And "L'Intense" has become here for me really in the long run a welcome change, a fragrance to which I reach very gladly times to make a special evening again a little more special.

The performance is rather medium-strong, however, many underestimate from my point of view the durability, as Eau de Parfum concentrations tend to last rather longer, but project weaker, as the alcohol in EdT's makes them more radiant, but higher perfume-oil content for it just increases the durability.

LNDL L'Intense radiates the first hour very strongly, then pulls back a bit towards Hautnah, but is in the Silage and movements in the environment for others then very well noticeable. Especially if you also spray in the hair and on the clothes, you come well through the day (or night ... ), with the advantage that "Oversprayen" not so fatal ends, and on the other hand you can distribute the fragrance well over the whole body.
And hey, stronger than the current La Nuit de L'Homme EdT is it all times still... ;P

And funny enough, the people who often experience me with La Nuit de L'Homme Vintage, usually think that I wear this,- although it is L'Intense! So the DNA is definitely there, and is recognized, despite the independence.

Here you can see again how deep we are in the "game", that we hardcore perfume users and connoisseurs sometimes cling to such exact ideas.

Anyway, I wear the fragrance really often and gladly, he is really beautifully done, very independent and still so what of "La Nuit". Unfortunately, he was now finally discontinued, in favor of the "LNDL Eau de Parfum", but fortunately we live in a time in which you get everything still on the net.
Also, luckily not everyone shares my love for it, which is handy in that case. ;P

For me, it remains a fragrance jewel for the ages, with which I associate many fond memories. :)

La Nuit- High Five to you all! ;)

kind a mix of the OG La Nuit and Cavalli Uomo Silver. Seductive cardamom mixed with leather and a pit of powdery iris.

A gorgeous scent, particularly the 1st hour, dries down to a lovely but rather familiar smelling iris (recalling other modern men's frags).
