Weaknesses in the B-Note
Of all the Kenzo Amour dupes I've come across, Nature's Sexy certainly comes closest in content to the nuances of the original. In my opinion, the similarity between Amour and Nature's Sexy is also significantly greater than between Amour and Dior HP. Here, the airy, cloud-like, Far Eastern atmosphere comes through more, and that without bothering the nose with Play-Doh or plastic notes.
That the dupe may seem a bit less complex, a bit less rounded than Kenzo: Well, that's a given.
Unfortunately, the fragrance also highlights Kenzo's major weaknesses: longevity and sillage. In this regard, it even manages to surpass its predecessor, as the scent is weakly dosed and dissipates quickly. This situation is further complicated by an initial barrier: the stronger alcohol note at the beginning. One doesn't want to have to reapply every twenty minutes and breathe through this wall of alcohol; here, I lose all the velvety sensuality that Amour represents, every feeling of warmth, adventure, and spaciousness at first.
